Chapitre 34: Chapter 33 : One of the Big 3, God of the Sea

Arriving to the bridge, going to cross it, before he could get there stood someone.

A beautiful Goddess with silver eyes, auburn hair, a white long dress with golden outlines that's dirty on the bottom as well as a belt of throwing knives and a quiver on her back. It was Artemis, the Goddess of Nature.

He took a step towards her and she quickly pointed the bow between his eyes, saying : "Surrender now and we will be merciful." Satoru only looked her dead in the eyes, refusing to show any sign of emotion.

"One more time. Surrender and we'll be merciful towards you." Knowing what he did against the other Gods made her slightly shake but not lose character, only minimal shaking of the hand.

Satoru merely flinched and she fired the arrow right between his eyes, killing him and making his body poof into white smoke. Not even a moment later, her leg flew with blood through the air as she collapsed onto the floor.

Artemis grunted and looked at Satoru as he stood before her, thinking that he'll kill her. But all he did was turn around and start walking towards the bridge : "I have no reason to kill you. You're not on the list."

Hearing that, she didn't dare do anything else.

Satoru walked across the bridge and arrived to Murkside Village where a lot of men, women and children stood and celebrated with a lot of tables full of alcohol and food.

He blended in with the crowd, despite his cut up and bloody shirt and burnt pants at the ankles. He watched as Poseidon and his wife Amphridite stood before everyone and started a speech.

Poseidon had a long gray beard, long gray hair and a type of blue skirt for men. Despite his appearance manipulation, he still chooses to appear this way. Amphridite wore a long blue sleeveless dress with the golden outline on the sleeveless and a silver bracelet and necklace with blonde hair.

"Thank you my followers for gathering today and joining me in this feast and celebration! I'd like for all of us today to get drunk and enjoy as much as possible!"

Deciding not to listen as he couldn't give two shits, Satoru threw his axe from the crowd at Poseidon who evaded it.

All of the ones who watched were stunned and turned to the direction the axe came from, only to see the boy.

Satoru took a giant leap and as he was landing in front of Poseidon called his axe from behind him, but he moved out of the way again, dodging it once more.

His wife quickly began to place her hands up to perform an ability, but the second Satoru landed, he swung his axe and cut off her arms and high kicked her, knocking her out.

Poseidon went for a downward strike, but Satoru dodged, dropping his axe, and going to kick him in the head, yet he quickly got up and pirouetted, grabbing the boy by the throat before he could do anything else.

The God of the Seas agitated and already in the Rage of the Seas, lifted him up in the air and began to choke him out.

"Whats wrong, can't breathe?" he taunted the boy, tightening his grip more and more

Forcing the anger to overflow once again purposefully, at the cost of a good emotion, he activated the Rage of Thunder and began kicking against Poseidon but his grip wasn't letting go much.

Using and saying it in his mind, the words of the started not to matter and the entire sky turned dark as Poseidon was hit by a much more powerful Thunderbolt than the one he could previously perform at the cost of a lot of divine energy.

Forcing his grip to release and him yell out in pain from the damage, Satoru dropped to the floor and kicked Poseidon who was still standing.

"Damn you boy!" yelled out the angered Poseidon, summoning a large water tornado that started to tear the village apart as it made it's way to Satoru whilst also seemingly increasing.

The white haired boy took his axe and threw it at the water tornado, activating the bolts of thunder that struck it multiple times and stopped it.

Poseidon threw a left and right at Satoru's face, which he both weaved with his head and jumped back firing Thunder Circus, having Poseidon rise a wall of water and block against it.

"I'd like for you to know that I voted for your death."

"I don't give a shit what you wanted, Poseidon. I only want to kill your right now."

"Hm.. Well I guess it's a given, judging from your bloodline." Poseidon commented, slightly grinning too

"Another thing... your stories and tales in the book? Absolute fucking garbage."

They got close once more exchanging hand-to-hand combat, with Poseidon taking the lead and placing Satoru on defense, making him go and dodge every attack he possibly can, even getting hit in the process.

The boy fired a thunder beam at him, yet he simply replied with a water one.

Poseidon arose an entire water wave the size of the village at Satoru. He leapt up into the air, but a tentacle of water expanding from Poseidon's arm pulled him back down.

Using the opportunity, Satoru conjured a lightning rod and threw it at the water tentacle that bound them and it traveled all the way to Poseidon, shocking him because of the effect of water and lightning combining, making him release his leg.

The boy jumped up into the air as the wave hit every house below him, tearing them apart, leaving barely some standing.

Rushing at the boy, Poseidon punched him into an entire building that collapsed on the white haired boy, hoping that he's out but the building only exploded from within as multiple rods of thunder began to be thrown at him, which he blocked.

Out of nowhere, Satoru teleported in front of him. The god reacted by going to downslam him. Moving out of the way just in time, the boy did a high hook kick and landed it in the god's head and afterwards teleporting out before he grabbed him.

True Thunder was used now and he was now stunned. Satoru pulled his axe towards himself and threw it at Poseidon who dodged it.

White lightning senbon was attacked to the axe. The boy teleported to it and behind Poseidon, saying calmly : "Too slow." cutting his head off horizontally.

Blood splattered as his head started to roll away.

Satoru stood up, feeling his in pain, and extracted the energy placing it in a jar. Same process with Amphridite, who was only unconscious until she woke up after the extraction and started to yell in pain as it's very hardly capable of being able to survive an extraction like that.

At first she screamed at Satoru who started to leave, yelling curse words and slurs at him until he stopped and turned half his body towards her. His expression warped to that of disgust as she started to beg for mercy now.

He listened her beg and beg, standing over her and simply decided that he's not having it. He took out two real metal senbon and threw both of them at her, one in both eye and through the brain, killing her quickly.

His clothes, the nice white ones were now bloody red.

"These Gods are getting tougher and tougher. I should actually start looting them, surely they've got a lot of valuable stuff. Stuff that I could use"

And he was right. Satoru went to Poseidon's house, which was the largest house in the entire village and just behind him and found multiple leather pouches, each with 5k worth of golden coin if not more.

"I should hurry it up before the catastrophic event occurs."

Satoru found a backpack in his house and stuffed all the pouches inside of it. Surely there must have been approximately 15 pouches, each similar to the other.

That would be about 75k with the additional 2.4k he had.

The water was beginning to slowly rise, so Satoru grabbed a cloak similar to that of what Karoi offered him and put it on, deciding to take rest someplace and gather everything he has so far obtained.

He's known in Ember nation, in Dune nation, in Nimbu nation and now in Haze nation. It's only a matter of time before what happened spreads across the entire nation after all...

But that leaves...

"Rock Nation. Yeah, I'll rest there. I'll need to dig up information about Hephaestus after all. To top that off, my clothes are really fucked up."

"The water's rising. This village is definitely gonna get flooded, but I wonder if there's anything else valuable in this house."

Searching the house, Satoru found...

"Nothing. How the fuck can a God have nothing except money. Don't matter, time to get a move on."

He left the house and began to leave out of the village too, to his destination.

"I wonder just how I'm able to compete with these Gods now.. I couldn't defeat Anubis the first time around and now I'm simply overwhelming them."

"Oh yeah. He.. mentioned that they stopped training to enhance their strength 10's of thousands of years ago and that some of them have retired from fighting and only drink, eat and feast."

"On top of that, my progression has been quick too as I've been training a lot, though that shouldn't be the reason for it. There's still much to learn and even fighting Poseidon. I was barely dodging his attacks, every single one of his attacks.."

"It felt difficult, but I had to do it. So if that's what a retired God's strength is, I truly wonder what an active one's is. I'm lucky he didn't use the hollow too."

"I need to put some more training in and stop this conflict with the demon eyes too."

"But for now.. For now, I'll go to some sleep soon."
