In a dimly lit meeting room, eight individuals gathered around a polished table. Seated at the head was an elderly man with a thick white beard and mustache, exuding a sense of wisdom and authority. Despite his scrawny appearance, the grandeur of his white robes reflected the power and respect he commanded.
He was the Head of the Seven Magic Towers - Grand Magister Orion Eridor. Holding the esteemed title of Archduke, he was renowned as one of the three most powerful mages in the world.
His primary responsibility involved overseeing the management of all seven magic towers and resolving conflicts that arose among them.
The other seven individuals present were the Magic Tower masters, each an archmage with a respected 8th rank, while Grand Magister Orion teetered on the brink of breaking through to the esteemed 9th rank.
It was their collective prowess that rendered the Mozard Empire the second-strongest empire globally. Established by mages, the empire boasted a unique structure where all nobles were skilled mages.
The empire's magic academy gained fame as the first choice for aspiring mages. While the Mozard Empire welcomed mages from other regions, it was notorious for persuading them to join both the empire and its magic tower.
Talented individuals from distant empires often chose to join the Mozard Empire's magic academy. That's the reason, rest of the empires hesitate to send their mage prodigies here.
The seven magic towers of the Mozard Empire are renowned as the premier institutions for delving into specific elemental studies. Numerous mages eagerly join these towers to conduct research with their support. Through leveraging these advantages and employing strategic tactics, the Mozard Empire has secured its place as the second most powerful military force in the world.
Returning to the meeting room...
"We've received reports that someone has acquired Raidon. Signs of Raidon's power were detected in the territorial conflict between two counts in the Vradel Kingdom," the Head of the Magic Towers informed, directing his gaze towards an individual with striking lightning-blue hair and eyes.
"What? But how is that possible? Knowledge of the primordial elemental stones should be considered nothing more than a fairy tale about the gods," The person who was being gazed upon exclaimed, standing up in disbelief.
This person was the Lightning Tower Master. He appeared to be in his mid-50s, he sported a goatee beard and a handsome face, dressed in a blue robe adorned with the symbol of lightning.
"It is not crucial to know how that person acquired it, but we must retrieve it before it is misused. We cannot allow such a powerful relic to remain in the wrong hands. It's a matter of world safety!" Head Eridor declared with righteous conviction.
"But how will we acquire it? You are well aware that we cannot simply snatch it away from someone. Only an individual possessing a primordial origin elemental stone can obtain it from another person," a woman in an icy blue robe questioned.
"The Ice Tower master is correct. The primordial stones are seeking a master to avenge the god of magic. They will never remain with a person who has been defeated by another individual chosen by a different primordial stone," a handsome man in a green robe agreed, speaking with a gentle voice.
"We've been trying to locate the primordial stones but had no luck in the past five years, and now someone else acquires it. Damn it!" A burly and muscular man cursed with a deep voice. He sported a fiery red beard and hair, dressed in a red robe.
"Don't worry! I'm not suggesting to do anything right now. I just want to find him and persuade him to join our empire so that we can use him as a compass to locate the other primordial stones," Head Eridor informed with a grin on his face.
"That's a wonderful plan! I propose that we inform our spies in the Vradel Kingdom to locate this person as soon as possible. He should be affiliated with one of the counts in that territorial war," suggested a muscular man with earth-brown hair and eyes, clad in a brown robe.
"Yes, that's exactly what I had in mind. I also want the Lightning Tower Master to go to the Vradel Kingdom, as he will easily sense the power of the primordial stone if it was used," Head Eridor muttered, fixing his gaze once again on the Lightning Magic Tower Master.
"Yes, I will do as you wish," the Lightning Tower Master reported, bowing.
"I'd also like to address another piece of news from the same territorial war involving those counts. There's information that a 15-year-old kid has become a ranker in Vradel," Head Eridor announced, observing the reactions of the Archmages.
"What? Have the standards of Vradel Empire's rankers fallen to the point where a child can also become one?" A lady in a black robe expressed her shock. she possessed an alluring, sinful body and a perfect hourglass figure. black hairs, crystal blue eyes, perfectly carved face.
"No, that's not the case. That kid named Adrian Blaze defeated a 6-star aura knight, ranked 49th on the list." Head Eridor shook his head before replying with a smile.
"W-What? Don't tell me he reached 6-star at this young age!" A lady with a gentle expression yelled in shock.
She wore a white robe and had long blonde hair, beautiful green eyes, a small nose and light pink lips, her features were sharp and combined with her perfect hourglass-like mature body, she looked breathtaking.
Hearing the response, the smile on Head Eridor's face deepened before shaking his head, "No, this is not the case either. He reached 4-star a few days before the duel."
Upon hearing those words, everyone, except the Head, stood up from their seats with shocked expressions.
"That's impossible! A 4-star defeating a 6-star is unheard of. If this news is true, then we should prioritize eliminating that kid over the Raidon case," the Fire Tower Master shouted.
"Don't get too riled up. First, hear the full news before reacting," Head Eridor said, gazing at everyone who was standing due to the previous situation.
Everyone settled back into their seats after seeing the Grand Magister's gaze.
"That kid won through luck. Everyone who witnessed the match provided statements regarding that kid having an unstable foundation as well as a weak aura. His opponent was toying with him throughout the match by allowing him to dodge narrowly.
His opponent lost control over mana and was beheaded due to using a highly complex technique," Head Eridor informed.
"Oh... so that was the case. Now all of this makes sense. But I must say, that kid is very fortunate," the Fire Tower Master commented.
"Could he be the person who acquired Raidon? Perhaps he was acting all along to conceal his identity," the Ice Tower Master suspected.
"No, I doubt that! Even if he had Raidon, there would be no way he could defeat a knight who is 2 levels above him. Also, he didn't use Raidon's power in the whole match. Therefore, I am confident that he is not the person who has Raidon," Grand Magister answered in disagreement.
"If that's the case, then there is no need to pay attention to that kid. We should focus on the Primordial Elemental Stones," the Lightning Tower Master suggested.
"Alright then. This meeting is adjourned. You all can leave, and Lightning Tower Master should head to the Vradel Kingdom," Grand Magister Eridor announced.
Everyone left for their respective business. The Lightning Tower Master also packed his essential belongings in a space ring before leaving for the Vradel Kingdom.
After a day, as the Lightning Tower Master entered the Vradel Kingdom, the person whom he was searching for also entered the Mozard Empire's territory.
"I am finally here," Adrian muttered with a smile, gazing at the Mozard Empire in front of him.
