"I don't know how this got here, I swear…" Xavier was shaking inwardly even though he was putting up a show of confidence as he put up a denial against the allegations he was being stormed with.

Even though he was at fault, he was feeling betrayal as his wife and his son were almost ganging up on him with the ring they shoved in his face.

He wasn't sure how much longer he could keep up with the miniature court case he was trapped in.

"Really…? So you're saying that this curious, costly looking jewelry just suddenly appeared in our house without anyone bringing it here?" Sharon asked with her brows furrowed, her eyes flaring her angry demand for an answer to her questions.

"I know what you are thinking, Sharon and you, Trevor," Xavier kept his voice from breaking down into a stutter with the best of his oratory skills. "But I'm telling you I didn't bring anyone here, alright?"
