[Review upto chapter: 1400 from raw] It's a banger. Read it you won't regret it. It's not just talking simulation like other simulator novels but real simulation like semi-time loop. Once he dies everything become a simulation and he returns to the starting point untill then everything he experiences is real and there is a major risk of him dying if he doesn't activate the ability in the correct time. Although the translation is bad here. I read it in chat gpt, it gave pretty good translation from raw. THIS IS THE KIND OF NOVEL THAT I WILL WHOLEHEARTEDLY PAY TO READ.....

I have to say that I've read two other translation versions before finding this one and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I've read plenty of mtl so I'm used to the nonsensical terms and inverse meaning but in here the only worry is that the terms sometimes aren't translated and stay in pinyin form or they use synonyms but the meaning is clear and you can glean everything from the context anyway. What I really wanted to mention when I started this review however, was that the bonus story in chapters 606-608 really impressed me. I thought it was a mistake from the translator at first but as I kept on reading, I understood who and what this bonus story is about. It was very fun and not like a xianxia story at all, it could really pass for a standalone fantasy/sci-fi short story. Now I feel I should also comment about the main story as well, it is very unique in the xianxia genre, I have never seen anything like it before, it's more mature and focuses on other aspects of their world than just mindless action and fights. Mc is very smart and likeable (I didn't like him at first but he grew on me), he's pragmatic and knows his limits and shortcomings so he's down to earth imo. It reminds me of lord of mysteries and indeed the author mentioned taking inspiration from it. Give it a go, you might like it but I should note that it takes things slow but the worldbuilding is immaculate and mc's plans, whether they work or not, also keep me reading.

thanks to the lovely The_peanut_gallary for this wonderful translation. there's a few minor errors but, they are ALL only regarding numbers. eg: the tl may be written as 100,000 when, it in actual, it is 1 mil. but, it is easy to ignore this as whenever this happens, there are comments letting you know the actual tl.
I really enjoyed the story . still waiting on the translator to translate more though. but the author clearly elongating for no reason. especially at ch 800+ . alot of extra redundent things are added just to stretch the story which really brings down the whole experience

Cultivation-World thought different. A Cultivation-World not like the many others regressed, with high level ancient techniques lying around for the MCs taking, but a true post-apocalyptic Cultivation World. Sect's? What are those? Masters and Disciples? Who needs those! All these things have no place in a World with a life-or-death grudge against every single Cultivator in existence, a seeming Utopia that allows everyone to cultivate. The author manages to create a unique Cultivation-World, still beholden to the general Xianxia Tropes, but at the same time very much unique. Although there may be some ass-pulling at some points in the story, its not much in the great scheme of things. If you can tolerate alright and inconsistent AI-Translation and a Story shining (more or less only) in an interesting World, this might be for you.

Good translation and story, though not for everyone, it progresses slowly with little fighting and a lot of world building/mystery. The MC and major characters are all smart. Although theres a presence of a system it was executed well without gatcha and other random bs.

An amazing story, I have just caught up to latest chapter and it's one of the best cultivation novel I have ever read. The idea of using simulation similar to regression is quite interesting to me. Hope for more chapter in the future.
