When she walked into the room, her sweet little Snowball trilled in excitement and ran at the speed of kitten across the space of the bedroom.

Her fluffy little baby reared up on his hind legs and reached his front paws up at her, chirping expectantly. He waved his little paws and flexed his toes, eager to be swept up into her arms.

His big blue eyes gazed up at her imploringly, full of adoration, longing, and expectation.

She bent down and scooped him into her arms, nuzzling him tenderly. "Hello, my sweet princeling," she murmured, kissing his furry face.

"Prrrrr..." Snowball purred contentedly, settling happily in her embrace. He snuggled closer and rubbed his cheek against hers.

She giggled. "Did you miss me? I only went for a walk, my sweet boy."

He butted his tiny head against hers insistently. She smiled fondly and stroked his back. "Alright, alright," she said affectionately.

She straightened and turned towards her desk.
