Kameida Shizuka spoke, yet the samurai sword in her hand she gripped tightly, unwilling to relax in the slightest.
Her entire body was completely hidden behind Ruth Dawn, such that even if William Cole wished to take action and shoot out the silver needles to save her, he couldn't.
Ruth Dawn's pretty face was filled with disappointment, "Shizuka, we are good friends, why are you doing this?"
"Have you forgotten our friendship back in our university days?"
"Now, you're holding a knife to my throat?"
She said, her expression dimming, "If you really don't want to leave any room for sentiment, then just end me with a single stroke."
Kameida Shizuka gripped Ruth Dawn's hair with one hand and held the knife with the other, "Ruth, are you a child?"
"Sentiment? With your status and position, you actually still believe in such things as loyalty?"
"Do you not understand that in this world, there are only eternal interests, and the word 'loyalty' is nothing but a joke."
