In the past five months, Shye focused on improving his strength and furthering his career as an adventurer by relentlessly training and taking on quests.

As a result, he blasted through the ranks from mid-emerald to a recently promoted mithril, courageously taking on (S-) and (S) ranked quests with the help of his familiar, depending on quest availability.

If there were plenty of (S) ranked quests available, he would take on one of those; otherwise, he would opt for an (S-) ranked quest.

He didn't want to offend all of the adamantite-ranked adventurers in his guild as even though he could deal with the consequences, his division members couldn't, except for a select few.
