After a surprisingly delicious meal, the trio excluding Sol returned to the road.
"I thought the Wyvern would've been a lot more dangerous." Lua said, making idle chatter.
Wyverns were a great beast, even if they were weaker than dragons. Old folk legends spoke of heroes slaying said fearsome creatures after great struggles. Normally, Lua would chalk it up to the people who fought the Wyverns being weak, but that felt wrong. Since he hadn't fought the wyvern himself, he didn't know how strong it truly was. When he was picked up by the creature, it could have dropped Lua at any point from the mountain and he likely would have died.
Basically, all of the ancient heroes were at least stronger than a Grade 9 Tinkerer, or perhaps more prepared… Lua thought.
"You're mistaken, friend." Luckily Fren was there to explain. Having a local with him helped at times like these. "Me and my father can infrequently kill Wyverns together, but I can not."
