Midori unwittingly swallowed hard.
"You haven't been coming for tea preparation lessons," Himawari shot Midori a bitter smile. "Midori-san, if I did anything wrong..."
"You didn't!" Midori quickly interjected. "Himawari-san, you have been great. You are great," she corrected herself on the spot, lest Himawari draw wrong conclusions from her words.
"I have been quite busy."
What with the move into Ginza, and then the failed business plan, and then Kiyoshi's injuries.
The way Himawari looked at Midori suggested that she did not trust the latter's words completely. And yet, like most young ladies, she refrained from speaking her mind and just nodded in apprehension.
"I see. Well, you must be busy with the Early Spring Festival right now as well. I hope that we can continue studying with Grandpa Kinoshita together afterward."
"En, I promise to be more diligent in my studies!"
