What were True Gods in his mind, anyway? At the very least, they were beings equipped with eternal life as standard. And yet here someone was, believing they could ascend to the Divine Throne with such a setup.
This, Muria thought, made a mockery of those legends in Elasia who had fought tooth and nail under the True God Church to develop faith and aspire to elevate to the Divine Throne.
