i personally hate the <i have to do x y and z so that the real protagoist can progress>.. the mc of this novel goes out of his way to ruin his own life just to keep the mc on track. why even bother writing this then. its cringe when your mc goes an acts like a young master in front of his entire class just to keep up appearances. and you keep doing it. the writing quality is decent, if you can enjoy a cuck mc than its whatever
Five star novel, the one problem that i found is mc codependence of the hero. he try to leave his problem in his hands always. The writing quality is good and it easy to fall into the world. That’s probably why the disappointment is 1000x worse than normal. I want to say it’s the same old generic school villain reincarnation trope but somehow the author managed to make it even worse. The MC is a dogshit human being that you actually cheer against (wish Locke had caved his face in). He is basically the quiet kid in class that serves no purpose in anyone’s life. Only a matter of time till he takes out his family and then heads to a elementary school. He is self righteous, out of touch with anything that might make him human, and just a horrible person all around. I never bullied anyone consistently when I was in school but I think I would beat this MC anytime I saw him even after graduation. That’s how unlikable he is. Cant even focus on the story itself since I’m busy looking for chapters that don’t have him in it.
