Chapitre 41: Advice

The day turned out smoothly for April. Having spent the morning with Doreen's company gave her the feeling of nostalgia. It was like they were young and carefree again. Doreen was very easy to talk to.

Although Doreen had admitted her marital situation with April, Doreen seemed to be ignoring the facts about her present situation. It was truly obvious that it was all about Joshy for Doreen. 

That made April admire Doreen even more. She promised herself that she would do everything she could to also make Joshy happy. Somehow, April felt closer to Doreen now.

The other half of the day was not so bad at all. April thought that Vincent would give her a hard time but she had actually been treated professionally by her boss.

When she arrived from her lunch with Doreen, it was only Paul whom she found in Vincent's office. According to Paul, Vincent was in a meeting at that moment with Leah as well.
