Why would Jin Xin knock him out?
The man who had been guiding Jin Xin didn't understand, eventually collapsing to the ground, overwhelmed by dizziness.
Jin Xin watched the man fall, coldly. He took a piece of chewing gum from his mouth and evenly stuck it over the elevator's camera, then turned his attention to the rising elevator.
He had no interest whatsoever in whether this elevator had a fourth floor.
As the elevator doors opened, he clenched his fist.
Ahead of him, the floor was empty, no sign of anyone present.
The excitement belonged to the blurred, swaying lights, the restless music, the flowing alcohol, and the bodies moving in a lively rhythm; it had nothing to do with the secluded top floor at this late hour.
This was not the time for enjoying the view from the top.
Jin Xin dragged the unconscious man – the 'honest man' who had led him here – out of the elevator and used a plastic zip tie to bind his hands and feet.
