Chapitre 39: Chapter 39: Feelings and Partners

The minute we stepped into my chambers, Armand, Ulysses, Randale, and Lowe all stood up in greeting. 

“How did it go?” Ulysses was the first to ask. 

“He feigned innocence.” Uncle Marrok burst out laughing, shaking his head.

My stomach chose to growl at that moment, and everyone joined Uncle Marrok in the laughter. 

Ulysses walked over, laced his fingers with mine, and stated, “Let us feed you.” 

In twenty minutes, we were all seated enjoying dinner when the royal guard arrived with a message from Ma. 

“Crown Prince, Queen Acedalia has sent guards ahead of your honeymoon trip tomorrow. The army will escort you to the royal holiday resort.” He bowed and left. 

“Did I hear right, or did he just say honeymoon?” Lowe asked with a raised brow.

“You heard right,” I responded. “I informed Pa that we were leaving for the royal holiday resort for a week or two.”
