“I-I have no idea what you are talking about,” Ulfang stuttered as his eyes widened. I could smell the fear in his voice.

“What do you mean by sulfur?” Prince Marrok demanded. 

“The rogues in the woods, they are weak Lycans that need enhancements to be this powerful. We encountered them at the border, but Prince Ulysses subdued them. They are no match for him,” Lowe responded. 

Prince Marrok turned to Ulfang, sniffed him, and then said, “I can’t smell anything.” 

Armand chuckled. “That is because—” 

“Shut your mouth, Armand,” I commanded him, surprising everyone.

He bowed and apologized. “Forgive me, my prince.” 

“It seems that it's your word against mine,” Ulfang smirked and crossed his arms in front of his chest. 

“My prince, why don't you give him a run down?” Lowe suggested.
