But the Sage pretended to not know.

"You got the wrong person, girl."

"Wait, elder! I beg of you, that person is very important not only to us but to the whole world!"

If Nathaniel dies, the misfortune put on Cassiel will start. Not only he and Ophelia, but everyone in the kingdom will eventually suffer.

"If he is that important, just get him the royal doctor or something," the elder said and tried to leave the room.

"Please! If you come with us, I will give you anything you ask for!" Even though she doesn't have much, there must be something to attract the Sage.

"That's enough," Cassiel grunted lowly and forced her to stand up. He hated it when she lowered herself before someone else. "Are you sure it's him?"

Violet nodded in confirmation.

"Then, I will knock him out and bring him to the castle forcibly!"
