Working together, the two nodded. Space distorted and four channels appeared beside them. In a second, figures emerged: Corin, Almin, Rehvka, and Thea took slow steps through the portal linked by the channel and joined the two.

From a distance, the two enemies watched everything unfold in a matter of seconds. They contemplated the scene with indifference; it seemed to be just a common spatial channel, similar to the ones their family used.
