Chapitre 26: Star Gazing: Their First Kiss Under The Night Sky

As Kayla entered her room, she immediately picked up her phone and dialed a number.

Immediately the call connected, the worried voice of Emily could be heard. "Kayla, I thought you would never call. I have been worried sick, what going on now? How is your progress with him?" Emily asked question after question giving Kayla no time to reply.

"Emily, I am doing great," Kayla said.

"Sorry, I am just worried about you," Emily said.

"I know, and I am grateful for having you as a friend," Kayla said.

"Aw, thanks. Now enough with the flattering, how are you doing? I hope he isn't doing anything to maltreat you in any way. If he is, tell me. I will tell Dad to come and clean his mess" Emily said.

"No, he isn't. He is kind of nice to me" Kayla said. She knew Emiky's nature, Emily is more of a mother hen who showers her care and attention.

"Okay, now tell me about your progress. I am dying to know" Emily said with her voice filled with curiosity.
