They didn't know whether or not Aidan was jesting when said his previous sentence. 

Producer Yao forced a smile on his lips, embarrassed by the awkward situation, and said, "Of course, I understand. I also don't enjoy holding hands with a man!" 

"Do you really understand?" Aidan asked without an ounce of emotion in his tone.

He laughed it off and pulled his hand back to him. Deep inside, Producer Yao was complaining in his heart. It's just shaking hands, not holding. Why is he so fickle?

Usually, Producer Yao would not hold his tongue and defend himself to protect his pride as a man. 

But... 

Can he really defend his dignity in front of Aidan?

Producer Yao, with his tail tucked between his feet, naturally couldn't do it. But the unwillingness could be seen on his face as he stepped back.
