Chapitre 47: Hopefully

The next day, we spoke to the hunter and made plans to leave the village.

"But didn't you want to stay here another night?" Sumblum said. He'd mostly recovered. Partly because of the potion but also because these part-human beings had excellent healing abilities. But it would take him at least another week to fully heal.

Leaving tomorrow was the plan. But plans change. "I have other business to attend."

"Such a shame. I wanted to show you around the village," he said. He kept staring at the crowd just past his yard. A lot of villagers had come to see us. They were just staring, and kept their distance for now.

I wasn't sure if the people were glad or hated my guts now but I didn't quite care. I didn't kill their knight out of the goodness of my heart. I killed that man because I saw a potential to start something new here.

The potential to use this as an excuse to start a war or sorts. A mental one, since I didn't need to actually wage war.
