Luo Mo grinned and shrugged. "Underestimate? Why would I do that to the Kaslana family's eldest lady?" He said, playing along with Kiana's pride.
Kiana smiled and nodded. "That's right! You better not!" She said, feeling satisfied. She then turned to Mei and grabbed her arm. "Mei Mei, you were also mad at him, right? He made you look like a fool in that drama!"
"Kiana~!" Mei gasped and gently pushed Kiana away. She touched her cheek and felt a blush. "Don't say that out loud! It's embarrassing!"
Luo Mo pretended not to hear them and walked towards the dubbing room. "Well, I'll go check on your dubbing then!" He said, acting calm.
"Okay, okay, okay! Come on, let's go!" Kiana said, jumping up and down. She was eager to show him what they had done. She dragged Mei and Bronya along with her.
As soon as they reached the dubbing room, Kiana plopped down on a chair and exclaimed.
"You know what? I had to dub the [Void Drifter - Kiana] scene over and over again, but it was worth it. Even my mom said I sounded like a totally different person!"
Luo Mo looked at her with a curious expression. He remembered the [Void Drifter] scene in the ARC City plot. It was intense and emotional.
"Do you… Really relate to her resolve?" He asked, sounding unsure.
Kiana nodded and smiled confidently. "Of course I do! This lady is strong, in every way!" She declared, pointing at herself.
Mei, who was standing next to her, chimed in. "Actually, Kiana has been working really hard lately. She wakes up early and stays up late to train every day."
She leaned closer to Luo Mo and whispered. "Her mom and the academy headmaster both asked me if something had happened to her. They were surprised by her sudden change."
She then turned to Kiana and teased her. "But Kiana still falls asleep in class sometimes."
Kiana blushed and covered her face. "Hey, hey, hey, don't say that, Mei! I can stay awake for much longer now!" She protested, sounding embarrassed.
Mei sighed and shook her head. "Then why are you pushing yourself so much? Kiana, you've been eating less and less lately." She said, sounding worried.
Luo Mo looked at the three girls in front of him. Bronya was sitting in a corner, reading a thick book on Quantum Mechanics. She seemed to be absorbed in learning new things. Kiana was fidgeting with her hair, looking nervous and excited. She had been trying to improve herself after seeing the last lesson.
And Mei… Mei looked the same as always. She was calm and composed, but Luo Mo could sense a hint of sadness in her eyes. She had not changed much since the animation, where she had to face a difficult choice.

Kiana suddenly spoke up, breaking the silence. "I… I was just a little moved by what happened to Himeko-sensei." She said, lowering her head and biting her lip. She looked at Mei and made a pouty face. "She was so brave and cool, don't you think?"
Luo Mo nodded and cleared his throat. "But, Kiana, you are not the same as the game's K423." He said, trying to remind her of the difference. He was curious about what had motivated Kiana to change so much after watching the video.
Kiana sighed and looked away. "I know, I know. But I still feel bad for what Himeko-sensei had to go through because of me. I have some regrets, you know." She said, sounding guilty.
She then smiled and clenched her fists. "But that's why I want to be a hero, too! I want to make Himeko-sensei proud of me, in the game and in real life. I'm sure someone needs me to be a hero!" She said, sounding determined.
Bronya, who was sitting quietly next to Kiana, suddenly spoke up. "Oh, that may not be true!" She said, contradicting Kiana's claim.
Kiana gasped and glared at Bronya, "Shorty! What are you talking about, don't say such things when my lady is moved!"
Bronya ignored her and turned to Luo Mo. "Alright, Kiana, Mei-san, you can continue with the dubbing. Bronya has something important to discuss with the boss." She said, gesturing for Luo Mo to follow her.
Kiana pouted and grabbed Luo Mo's arm. "Hey…! Hold on, I haven't given this dishonest boss a good beating yet!" She protested, not wanting to let him go.
Mei smiled and pulled Kiana away. "Well, Kiana, you have improved a lot lately. You're more disciplined and focused." She said, trying to praise her.
Kiana huffed and crossed her arms. "What does that have to do with anything? I'm just trying to teach the boss some self-defense skills!" She said, making an excuse.

Luo Mo followed Bronya to a quiet corner. He saw her floating in the air, her gray hair fluttering. She had a look of anticipation on her face that she couldn't hide.
"Seele… her?" Bronya finally said, breaking the silence. She sounded unsure and nervous.
"When can we go rescue her?" She asked, looking at Luo Mo with hopeful eyes.
Luo Mo knew that the time was coming soon. Seele's figure had appeared in the game, and Bronya had been waiting for this moment.
But Bronya had also been busy with other things. She had been dubbing with the others, learning quantum mechanics, and talking to Seele on her notebook. She had been juggling three tasks at once, and it was taking a toll on her body.
She was pale and thin, and she barely ate anything. She only snatched some food from Kiana's plate, since Kiana had been eating less too.
Luo Mo wondered if Bronya ever had any fun. He remembered that Mei had suggested that she play some games with Kiana, but Kiana had refused. She was too focused on becoming a hero.
Bronya didn't mind missing out on the games. She knew she would have plenty of time to play with Seele when she rescued her. She was more focused on preparing for that day.
She wrote notes to Seele every day, telling her that she was coming for her soon. She also assured her that she was not having fun without her, that she only cared about Seele.
She was annoyed by the boss, who kept asking her the same question every day. Seele had nothing else to do but to talk to her, and she was getting restless.
Bronya glared at Luo Mo, who looked clueless.
Seele had also picked up a new word from somewhere.
Arigato, Bronya-San.
She tried to comfort her, but Seele echoed her from the other side.
She wondered if that was really Seele's other personality, the one who was different from her Seele.
She also wondered what the word meant. Bronya had no idea.
Luo Mo smiled and nodded at Bronya. "We're almost ready to go save Seele!" He said, sounding excited. He then asked her, "By the way, do you know where the Serenity Gem is?"
Bronya frowned and shook her head. "… Does it have to be the Serenity Gem?" She asked, sounding doubtful.
Luo Mo shrugged and said, "Not necessarily. But the Serenity Gem is the best option we have!"
He explained, "We also have to deal with Cocolia. She's been causing trouble for Schicksal, and they won't let her get away with it. If you help us get the Serenity Gem, you might be able to reduce her punishment."
Bronya looked conflicted. "You want me to…?" She said, trailing off.
Luo Mo leaned closer to her and said, "Bronya, think about it. The Serenity Gem in Schicksal's hands and in your hands are not the same thing."
He continued, "You know better than anyone what Cocolia's real motives are. Is she doing this for the sake of the experiment, or for the sake of Seele?"
Bronya nodded slowly. "… Bronya knows." She said, sounding determined.

Elysia and Vill-V were in the golden courtyard, where they had been working on a device.
"Ellie, I have something to tell you. The device can actually work up to 5 kilometers, not 2 kilometers." Vill-V said, sounding mysterious.
"Really? But you told me that…" Elysia said, feeling confused.
She was not doubting Vill-V's skills, but she was curious about the discrepancy.
Vill-V rolled her eyes and smiled. "2 kilometers is the safe distance, Ellie. Beyond that, things get tricky." She said, winking at her.
"What do you mean by that?" Elysia asked, feeling nervous.
Vill-V leaned closer to her and whispered. "Beyond 2 kilometers, the device can't keep your body stable. You might end up with only your legs visible, for example."
Elysia gasped and covered her mouth. "That's horrible!" She exclaimed.
Vill-V nodded and shrugged. "That's why I added the holy light function, as a backup. It might be better than walking around with half a body, right?" She said, sounding cheerful.
She added, "Besides, you can always use the holy light to fix any missing parts, right?"
Elysia shook her head and thought to herself. No, I think Heroes would rather disappear than look like that. It would be too embarrassing!
Vill-V smiled and reassured Elysia. "Don't worry, just go out as usual, and we'll be fine." She said, holding the device in her hand.
Elysia looked at her with a doubtful expression. "Uh… Is there… Another way to be normal?" She asked, hoping for a better solution.
Vill-V shrugged and listed some options. "The fastest way is to change the location of the device, the best way is to find a different stigmata to increase the Output, and the most convenient way is…"
