As the silhouettes of the two figures receded into the distance, Bronya chose not to follow. Fu Hua cast a glance at the departing pair, then turned her gaze to Bronya who had remained behind. With a polite farewell to both Luo Mo and Bronya, she left them alone, leaving the space for their conversation.
Bronya turned to Luo Mo. "Let's talk about Seele," she said. She floated in the air, gently petting her big Project Bunny 19C. Her eyes were distant. Luo Mo had stopped his wandering. He had been planning to save Seele...
"Seele vanished because of an experiment, right?" he asked.
Bronya nodded firmly. Not many people knew about the experiment. Anti-Entropy had the information and wouldn't give it up easily. But Bronya's eyes shone with hope. She looked serious.
"Seele was part of an experiment that breached a critical threshold. Her existence shifted to a quantum state and she could no longer manifest in reality. Currently, she resides in the Sea Of Quanta. To save her, we must first alter her quantum state so she can appear in real space. Otherwise, even if we manage to bring her back, she will inevitably sink back into the Sea Of Quanta."
"Quantum... State?" Bronya mumbled. She had only read about quantum stuff in books. It was all very confusing to her. But for Seele, Bronya was ready to learn. She would buy books online and start studying today. She knew her love for Seele would help her understand this difficult topic.
"So, boss, do you have any ideas on how to save Seele?" she asked hopefully. Even though she didn't expect much more information, learning this much was already an unexpected bonus.
"There might be a way," Luo Mo said slowly. He had an idea, but it needed technology that didn't exist yet in this world. He thought back to his experiences with Honkai III...
"No matter what your conditions are, Bronya promises to fulfill them!" Seeing Luo Mo's hesitation, Bronya assumed he wanted something in return and immediately made her promise.
"The Herrscher Gem," Luo Mo finally said. "The Serenity Gem, if possible."
Upon hearing this, Bronya couldn't help but feel skeptical. Cocolia had told her something similar before and had asked for Mei-San's Conquest Gem at that time. But the outcome... well, let's just say that once bitten, twice shy.
"The Herrscher Gem is like an anchor," Luo Mo began. "It keeps Seele connected to the real world." He paused for a moment. "In a way, Cocolia was right. But she missed something important – the Gem could also be dangerous for Seele. And getting the Gem is just the first step."
"Mama Cocolia..." Bronya looked troubled. "Why did you suggest this then? Can you promise Seele will be safe?" She wasn't worried about Luo Mo knowing about Cocolia. All that mattered was Seele. Bronya's home was wherever Seele was.
"You should know why Seele was able to undergo that experiment without sustaining any serious injuries, right?" Luo Mo asked.
"Why?... Because... Stigmata?" Bronya had never really pondered the reason. In the orphanage, she had always played the role of an older sister. But she had always known that in terms of Honkai Resistance, she was the one with the weakest Honkai Energy Resistance.
She didn't possess natural stigmata, and her resistance was just passable. That's why that experiment would have killed her if she had done it, and yet Seele survived... Despite being in a different place. At this point, she could only attribute it to one reason - stigmata.
"Yes, stigmata. Seele is a born Stigma awakened, and not just any Stigma. You can understand that she is a born adaptor of the Serenity Gem; she has the best compatibility with this gem." Luo Mo explained.
Being able to use the Black Abyss White Flower on first contact, if not for the fact that Honkai Impact III has no place for the Serenity Gem to go right now, one has always thought that Seele would still have a brand-new set of BattleSuit from the Herrscher of Death.
Twin personalities, one black and one white, Black Abyss White Flower, withering and creation. One person wielding one kind of authority - could there be any one more suitable for the Herrscher of Death than her?
Moreover, Luo Mo suspected that even if Seele accepted the gem, the consciousness of the Herrscher personality wouldn't appear. There was only room for one person to sit in a position, and right now, Veliona had taken that position.
If Anti Entropy had used the Serenity Gem instead of the Desire Gem, saving Seele would have been much easier.
"But... Herrscher... I don't want Seele to become a Herrscher," Bronya said, hesitating.
Herrschers and humans were like different species, Even Mei-San had refrained from revealing her Herrscher identity to the other students, as it would inevitably lead to unnecessary chaos, predictable suspicion, and isolation. However, if becoming a Herrscher was the only way to save Seele…
Bronya remembered her promise to protect Seele. "Seele won't be in danger," Luo Mo reassured her, not noticing Bronya's determination. "Actually, with a Quantum Leap Device, getting Seele back could be even easier."
Bronya made up her mind. "Bronya will get the Serenity Gem," she said seriously, forgetting her usual way of speaking. "And I'll do whatever you ask."
"Actually, I know where the Serenity gem is," Luo Mo said. "But you'll still need to go save Seele yourself."
"But, Bronya doesn't know how to get there…"
"I'll tell you how. I can't go there myself. Besides, wouldn't it be better for you to save your own sister personally?"
Bronya nodded eagerly. "Okay, what's the plan?"
"First, let's talk about what I need from you," Luo Mo said, changing the subject.
Bronya sighed and gave Luo Mo a look that said, "Seriously?" She got up, checked the windows and door to make sure they were locked, and then closed the thick curtains for privacy.
Then she returned to where Luo Mo was seated, looking down at him with a mixture of resentment, a hint of fear, and an overwhelming sense of disgust.
Bronya reached for the buttons of her coat. She paused for a second, then quickly regained her composure. She began to undo the buttons one by one. "Let's get this over with," she said.
From Luo Mo's raised viewpoint, just in time to see Bronya's small white silk feet hanging in front of her, along the top was a smooth arc, white legs slightly thin, but also extremely attractive, the hem of the skirt just blocked to the depths, and that condescending look of disgust at the scum of the earth, the expression of the condescending look.
Luo Mo gulped, gently stabbed his palms with his fingernails to curb the impulse just now.
Calm down, calm down, he thought. Three years to start, five years to make it worthwhile. It's not worth getting caught. Wait, how did this happen?
As he battled his internal urges, he contemplated the path that had led him to this point. After completing this mission, how would he face Seele? Could she ever understand the sacrifices that had been made for her? The situation seemed to have spiralled beyond his control.
But then, he remembered a certain pink-haired woman. It was like a lightbulb went off in his head. He understood something important about people: you shouldn't just look out for yourself. You should be willing to sacrifice for the greater good. Wasn't it worth giving up a little for something bigger?
Luo Mo stopped thinking about what he wanted. Instead, he thought about how humans had changed over time: from tiny bugs to sea creatures, from amphibians to apes, from giant whales to the twinkling stars in space. This calmed him down, and he stopped Bronya.
"Wait, not now," Luo Mo blurted out, immediately realizing how that sounded. "No, that's not what I meant."
"Then what are you trying to say?" Bronya paused, her hands stilling. She felt a sense of danger creeping up on her, as if she was teetering on the edge of a precipice. Her body felt as if it had plunged into an icy cavern, and she dared not move.
"I mean, that's not what I'm asking for." Having clarified his intentions, Luo Mo breathed a sigh of relief, a fleeting sense of regret passing through him.
Bronya didn't answer right away. Her expression softened a little, maybe from ninety-four percent disgust to... ninety percent? She asked carefully, "...More than this?"
"Of course not! Uh... Maybe even more excessive from your perspective?" Luo Mo tried to clarify.
Bronya sniffed and crossed her arms defensively over her chest. "I mean, my demand is that you're not allowed to rescue Seele for two months. In return, I'll tell you the exact steps and methods to free Seele at that time. How does that sound?" Luo Mo finally revealed his request.
"Two months? Okay, I agree," Bronya said, nodding shyly. Inside, she was shocked. Two months to save Seele? She thought about her plan and quickly decided to scrap it. Luo Mo's plan was clearly better than waiting years to save Seele.
Just now close, she has actually confirmed that Luo Mo is a solid ordinary person, completely can be taken down in an instant. But as she got closer, ready to made her move, her instincts screamed – if you do this, you'll die! This gut feeling had saved her many times when she was the Ural Silver Wolf.
With an expert protecting him in the shadows, Bronya instantly reacted that the method of kidnapping and threatening would not work. But it also proved the point that he was indeed valuable and the information he said was guaranteed.
She was right next to Luo Mo now. It was like an arrow ready to be fired. Maybe it was better to act than to think too much...
And if, just if, he truly had the ability to save Seele, it wasn't entirely out of the question to consider…

this one too, there's more tomorrow. and I want to thank all of you who followed and waited for me to solve the annoying problem yesterday and I deleted that chapter because it looked bad on the list.
and again, the FL character problem
actually after I reread the original story and got the honkai verse characters in here and Luo Mo who is considered the captain, I had an idea inspired (read plagiarized) from another story for Lou Mo's lore which was good because it seemed like the original story had a story framework with the same clues in mind so why not add in?
