Loreen replied just a few seconds after and said: [I'm sorry. I'll attend on my own. Unfortunately, my husband is occupied on that month. He won't be able to come with me. There's a scheduled one-week business trip coinciding with your wedding.]

"Did you check my schedule and saw the business trip listed?" Edric inquired.

"Ah, yes. I checked your schedule. It was with another huge company, so I know it was important."

There was a calendar at the mansion where Edric listed his general schedule months in advance, so Loreen would know when he would be around and wouldn't. It was to keep her updated and won't be surprised when he had to go on business trips.

But who would have thought it would cause her not to inform him about important matters.
