Chapitre 132: Lucien's proposal

Lilian remained distracted the next day at work. She kept thinking about Lucien's proposal. Would it really hurt if she gave him the recipe and the plant? A voice whispered that giving knowledge of the plant would be disastrous. But if she didn't, her life here would be over. She had painstakingly built her life here, she really didn't want it to end. Neither did she want to go to prison.

She was so lost in thought that she didn't notice Alessandro in front of her.

It was when he snapped his fingers that she snapped out of her daze.

"Yes, did you say something?" she asked him.

He bent down to look at her face, "Baby, are you sure you are okay?" he asked her.

"I am fine, just feeling tired and stressed."

"Well it's almost closing time, let's leave." he told her.

She packed up her things and they left the office together.

She followed him to the garage.

"Where is Giovanni?" she asked.
