In the alternate world of the Ninth-turn Trial, the frontline defense of humankind.
Years sped by in an instant.
Once the human equivalent of a war god was lost, the frontline defense could only be described as hanging by a thread.
In just four and a half years, the frontline had gone through twelve marshals.
Not one of the twelve marshals resigned, all of them without exception died in battle.
In four and a half years, twelve frontline marshals and 870,000 soldiers paid the ultimate price and yet barely managed to hold this line. Most of the human world's strongest fighters were killed or gravely injured.
Easier said than done though, every month, the frontline still managed to squeeze out some supplies to send to the rear.
For this reason, the frontline was willing to complete shut down the Thunder Network construction which significantly bolstered frontline defense, just to ensure uninterrupted supply of these materials.
