Chapitre 990: 308. Pursuing Shadows

Noland Lee and the Crawling Fear stared each other down, eye to eye.

That scene lasted for less than 5 seconds before being interrupted by a noise coming from underfoot.

"Sssss sss...crack crack crack..."

This noise was far more chaotic than what he had heard before.

Clearly, a considerable number of Shadow Creatures were making their way towards Noland Lee's position from underground.

The five Crawling Fears in front of him were purely trying to buy time for reinforcements to arrive. They weren't truly wary of the "Silent Shield" on Noland Lee.

Noland Lee glanced around using his peripheral vision.

He was in an underground hollow that was no more than two hundred square meters in size.

On the walls were man-made cave entrances, about three in number, each leading in different directions.

In a corner, there were some earthy brown stones with bite marks piled up.

These stones were none other than Barren Stones.

Next to them were large footprints.
