Chapitre 127: Avatar the Last Airbender?

Oct 27th, 1349 of the Fifth Epoch

Max stood in front of his a rather thin door which would be barely enough for him to squeeze through sideways, and inserted the Wanderer's Key inside, twisted it and walked through.

Quickly looking around, and communicating with the Amalgamation of All, he found that this particular door led to a landlocked town in East Balam, and just walked back through, locking the door behind him.

He engraved where it led to onto the wood of the door so it would not be confused with the countless other doors he had sifted through and placed in his Sefirot, before doing exactly that and sacrificing the door into the Sefirot.

He walked up to the next door in his large warehouse of doors, and repeated the same process again. This time, however, upon walking through he was almost immediately assaulted by a chunk of dirt being flung at him at immense speed.

Immediately, he dodged it since he did not know if this new world had superpowers. As such, stopping a rock in the middle of the air might just cause him to be labelled a witch or worse a demon and hunted down.

Rolling on the floor to the side, Max looked up and noticed his attacker, a brown-skinned child with a skinny yet tired expression. But he was already punching the ground and stomping his feet in a rather rhythmic yet forceful manner.

And then, like magic, another piece of rock the size of a baseball lifted into the air.

Before the child could launch the rock at Max, he grinned in his mind as he lifted his hand, and repelled the stone straight onto the forehead of the child.

*Thwack*

The child fell unconscious instantly and Max finally stood up. He turned around and closed the door behind him. But he did not stop there and immediately used the axe that was in the back of the small house, which was clearly used by an adult as well since there was firewood that had been collected near the axe, to break the wood holding the door in place.

'Alright, now that the door is safely put away in the Amalgamation of All, I think it's time to check this world out,' while thinking so, Max closed his eyes and entered his Sefirot, before looking at the world he was currently in from above.

'An absolute mess. Just like Earth, this world has a normal world, a Spirit World, and a little space in between. However, unlike the odd spirits in the Spirit World of the Earth, the Spirit World of this planet is far more terrifying.'

'There are True God level Mythical creatures, though barely any, but they exist. Hmm, there are far more King of Angel and Angel-level mythical creatures. It's odd, but there are no humans who have been able to reach any sort of power. They all seem to be borrowing the power of the King of Angels mythical creatures that do not exist in the Spirit world, but rather in the material world.'

'This is the avatar world,' Samuel commented offhandedly as he heard Max's musing.

'Ah, now that I think about it, that world does fit the description. But then, would it not be possible for other worlds to exist as well?'

'Yes, and it's better not to think about many of them.'

'Sure- sure. But I think those strong existences can sense us. Thankfully they not only seem to be unable to enter the material world easily, but also cannot leave the spirit realm to explore the outside universe.'

'Yeah, it's definitely a prison for them. From the original story, the avatar definitely did not have enough power to seal the Spirit world. He had only just closed off the connection between the spirit world and the material world. So, things might be different from the storyline… or perhaps not?' Max mused internally while returning to his body.

"Now… what to do with you?" Max thought out loud as he observed the groaning child that was slowly regaining his consciousness. His tattered green clothing betrayed his origins as a child of the Earth kingdom and his sunken cheeks and skeleton-like arms meant he had not eaten anything in a while.

'They don't appear to be wearing modern clothing, which means it is likely before the events of Avatar Korra. This is good since society has not evolved to depend on science just yet, which means as long as I can take over the world, I can push them all the following the Primordial Unity.'

'Hmm, I will need a spokesperson in this world. But Mark would suffice on Independence since there did not appear to be any people with power, so someone knowledgeable could handle representing me. But in this world, that person needs to be at least as strong as the avatar.'

'Hmm… why don't I find someone… to take up the other half of the avatar's spirit. What was it called again? Vatoo? No, Vaatu… yes sounds about right. Well then, I can come back to this world after advancing, and then find a way to reach the spirit with someone deathly loyal to me. But first, this kid knows too much.'

Without much of an expression, Mark reached out to the kid, and twisted his neck, killing him painlessly.

He then sacrificed the body so as not to leave behind any evidence. After all, a missing child, most likely a runaway, would be given a lot less attention than a murdered child.

After that, he continued walking into the forest. Soon, he came across a large cave and recalled a comical scene that he still remembered to this day, and hummed it while merrily walking through the dark tunnel.

♫ Two lovers, forbidden from one another ♫

♫ A war divides their people ♫

♫ And a mountain divides them apart ♫

♫ Built a path to be together ♫

♫ And die! ♫

♫ Secret tunnel! ♫

♫ Secret tunnel! ♫

♫ Through the mountain! ♫

♫ Secret, secret, secret, secret tunnel! ♫

Soon, he found he was sufficiently deep within the cave, repelled a bit of earth of a wall into the earth around it to create a tougher rock, and with a rectangle-shaped hole perfectly enough to fit the door into.

Then, he used his Wanderer's key and returned to Earth, only to step foot into the new world of Benders after having reached Sequence 7.
