Tadiwa Michael (POV)
I was quite nervous as I paced up and down in the parking lot.
Honestly, everything still felt like a dream. I didn’t even fathom just how it got to this point, but it happened. My heart couldn’t stop thumping wildly.
“Why are you acting like an old man?” a sarcastic and familiar voice asked as it approached me.
I stopped and raised my head to look at the person that was always defying the odds all the time.
“If you were me, wouldn’t you act the same?” I retorted with pouting lips as I glared at Douglas, who was carrying his bag.
“If it was me, I would go by myself instead of bringing someone there. What if I take fancy to your man?” Douglas couldn’t help but become himself as he teased me.
I glared fiercely at Douglas, though I knew that he was joking with me. “Umphh, I will fight you to death if you so ever take a double glance at him.”
