[Joanna's Pov]

I stare at the ceiling, blinking back tears. Daylight by Daniel Kushner's blares through the speaker of the headset in my ears. I feel tears sting my eyes.

Suddenly, someone throws a duvet over my head and I panic, taking off the headset. The stranger's hand pull the duvet off me. It's Jacob.

'Don't you lock your door?' He is standing before me with his arms crossed.

'I see no need for that. Even kings get attacked in their own castle.' I heave a lazy sigh and try to stand on my own when he stretch his arm.

'Come on,' his lips are tightly pressed.

'No, thanks.' I push his hand away and stand on my own, crawling back to bed.

'We're leaving.' He sits next to me on the bed.

'What's the time?' I ask, drawing my pillow near.

'It's 8 : 15 am and Selena is pretty strict about punctuality.' He pinched my side.

I push his hand away and sit up. 'You all are going back to America.'
