Kayla's POV
I turned my head along with Harrison's gaze and caught a glimpse of Donald Rufus striding towards us, his smug expression on full display. I immediately averted my eyes and let out a cold snort.
"Mr. Rufus."
Harrison's voice was devoid of warmth, but his furrowed brow betrayed his disdain for Donald.
"I believe we haven't reached a level of familiarity where we can address each other by name."
Perhaps with the backing of some newfound influence, Donald's audacity had evidently grown.
He stood arrogantly in front of Harrison, and there was even a hint of provocation in his tone.
"Well, I don't see it that way, Harrison. Since you've come to my home, it implies that our relationship is intimate enough, doesn't it?"
Donald's eyes roamed, and he even cast a lecherous look in my direction, flashing a sinister grin.
Harrison, noticing that, immediately positioned himself in front of me, and his gaze at Donald turned dark in an instant.
