Chapitre 61: 61 Return Home

Kayla’s POV

I hung up the phone, didn't even have time to change my shoes, and hastily pushed open the door of the small cabin, gasping for breath as I shouted out to Harrison outside.

"Help me, Harrison, Daisy...!"

Being a novice, I didn't realize that ski boots wouldn't work in such deep snow. So, before I could finish my sentence, suddenly, I lost my balance and fell headlong into the snow.

"Kayla!"

Harrison shouted my name loudly and ran to my side as fast as he could. He helped me up from the snowy ground, looking disheveled.

"What happened?"

Harrison looked at me with concern.

"Daisy had a sudden heart palpitation! Dr. Ferrera said she needs surgery right away, and the surgery is scheduled for tomorrow! Daisy must be terrified right now... I have to get back to her and be with her... Please, Harrison, help me get back!"

"I understand. Don't worry. Kayla, you will be able to be with Daisy."

Harrison's firm tone helped me regain some composure.
