Kayla’s POV
With the final draft of the interview ready, the planning for Harrison's interview had gone smoothly for me. I was sitting at my desk, gathering information about the theme for next month. A colleague informed me that the editor-in-chief, Lilian, wanted to see me in her office.
I put down the documents I was working on and headed to Lilian's office, feeling a bit curious about the reason for the meeting.
"Come in," Lilian's crisp voice called as I knocked on her door.
I entered, feeling a touch of nervousness. "I heard you wanted to see me. Is it about the theme selection for next month?"
Lilian gestured for me to sit down. "Stop being so tense, Kayla," she said. "You don't need to worry about planning next month's theme. I have a more important task for you."
