Harrison’s POV
"I've told you before, mom, I have plans for the evening..."
I made a conscious effort to suppress the annoyance and anxiety brought on by work as I pushed open the door to the VIP room.
The first person I saw wasn't my mother, Blair, but a woman who stood up nervously as the door creaked open.
I took a moment to study her somewhat familiar face before shifting my gaze to my mother.
"Oh, Harrison, I forgot to introduce you. This is Olivia Russell. Her father was your father's beta. You two met when you were kids. You remember her, don't you?" Blair said.
"I'm sorry, but I have no recollection," I replied, paying no mind to my mother's embarrassed expression as I took a seat across the long table.
"Well, it's been many years, and it's perfectly normal that you don't remember her," Blair reassured Olivia, who had turned pale and returned to her seat.
