Kayla's POV

"Miss Reeves!"

I turned around, and my gaze collided with the anxious look of Amber's stylist. She hurriedly approached me, clutching my hand.

"Something's wrong, Miss Reeves. Miss Newberry and Mr. Rufus are having a big argument in the dressing room!"

"What!" I exclaimed, gripping the stylist's hand in shock. "Tonight is their wedding night! What could have happened?"

"I don't know, but Miss Newberry and Mr. Rufus are fighting. Miss Newberry's assistant told me to find you right away. She said, perhaps only you can persuade Miss Newberry."

"Alright, lead me there."

From the stylist's description, I could sense that the situation was tricky. I lifted my skirt and was about to follow her to the dressing room. However, just as I was leaving, I remembered Daisy, who was still enjoying her cake nearby.

Looking at my daughter's frail figure, I couldn't bring her into an unknown and possibly heated argument, but I also couldn't leave her alone in the crowd.
