93.75% Jessie’s Pokémon Journey (AU) / Chapter 75: Separated by Air

Chapitre 75: Separated by Air

The episode starts with the gang with Team Rocket in the trio's hot air balloon, flying above the land. The narrator begins recapping the previous episode. "Last episode, Jessie managed to beat Articuno with Meowth and gain its feather, which caused the ice part of Kanto to return to normal. Our heroes now have to form a truce with Team Rocket to help them get to the next legendary bird. Will they be able to work together or will someone ruin it?" A close shot of Jessie's annoyed face shows before the title screen also shows.

"Separated by Air"

"Hey twerps, are we heading the right way?" Cassidy asked.

James is still looking at his map. "We just passed Fuschia City a while ago."

"I think I'll spot Vermilion City up ahead!" Domino pointed out.

The rest of the gang and Team Rocket soon arrive in Vermilion City by the hot air balloon, but as the gang and the trio look around, no one seems to be walking on the streets. "My goodness, it's like a ghost town…" Jessie says.

"What gives? Everything is back to normal around this area of Kanto!" Meowth says.

"But everyone is afraid that a possible mind-controlling Pokémon could attack them once entering outside," James stated. "So I think the people are gonna be glued to their homes until we fix this."

Mondo spots something in the distance as they start heading to the end of Vermilion City. "Hey guys you might want to look at this."

"What is it this time, Mondo?" Butch questions until he and the rest of the group look to where Mondo is pointing. "Oh…"

What's in front of the group that they're heading now is dark clouds, raining, and completely covering the end of the city with lightning striking once every five seconds.

James looks back at the map and begins describing the area. "We must be entering the lightning area. On the news, it says this area of Kanto is covered with never-ending storms."

Cassidy gulps. "You know, we don't have to go there, you know?"

The gang immediately turns around to glare at Cassidy. Jessie speaks up. "Yes, we are! You and your friends agreed to a truce and to help us. So we are heading to the lightning area!"

"Okay! Okay! Goodness, twerpette!" Cassidy crosses her arms and looks away with annoyance.

Domino whispers to Jessie's ear. "You could've been a little nicer to her."

Jessie whispers back with frustration. "Do you think I want to be nice with a group of criminals who have been trying to steal Meowth since the very beginning of my journey?"

Domino sighs and frowns. "Whatever you say." She looks back at the storm that she and the rest of the group are heading towards.

The group left Vermilion City and entered the lightning area where Team Rocket's hot air balloon was immediately hit with rain, which angered Meowth. "Rain, my mortal enemy. You always keep coming back when I want you to leave!"

Butch looks at Meowth from the back, Jessie immediately spots him and turns around with anger. "Keep your eyes off of my Meowth!"

James and Domino immediately look at Jessie with confusion. "What happened?" James asked.

"Are you serious, twerpette? I just looked at your Meowth after he made that comment!" Butch defended himself.

"I'm not stupid, Team Rocket! I said I got my eyes on the three of you to make sure you don't betray us!" Jessie replied.

Cassidy growls. "And we will say the same thing that we replied to you the last time you said that and that's; we will never betray you this time!"

"So how about you chill out, Twerpette?" Mondo suggested. "Remember that your twerps are on our hot air balloon and we can just forget about the truce and kick the three of you off along with your Meowth!"

Meowth gasps. "I don't want to go in the rain! Do not kick me off, please!"

"Jessie, he's got a point. You gotta trust them otherwise, we won't make it to Zapdos quickly." James says.

"So stop being a problem here!" Domino added.

Jessie continues with the arguing, pointing directly at Butch. "As long green hair here avoids eye contact with Meowth!"

Butch was completely in disbelief. "Are you serious?! You might as well say that I can't breathe in the direction towards your talking Meowth too!"

"Okay Butch, now you need to calm down," Mondo suggested.

"The fact you're getting so worked up because of just eye contact proves you're the problem here, twerpette," Cassidy says, directing Jessie.

"Well excuse me for just trying to protect my Meowth from three criminals!" Jessie snapped back.

The arguing between Team Rocket and Jessie continues as Domino, Meowth, and James try to break it up. While Team Rocket and Jessie were arguing, lightning struck the top of Team Rocket's air balloon, puncturing it. Not only did the lightning strike cause the argument to end, but it also caused Team Rocket's hot air balloon to spiral out of control in the air and the group started screaming.

"Can't… hang… on!" Jessie ends up falling from the spiraling hot air balloon, and so do Domino and James as they start descending to the ground, screaming while doing so.

Team Rocket and Meowth manage to hang on as Team Rocket's hot air balloon continues spiraling farther. "LOOKS LIKE TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Team Rocket screamed out before a twinkle appeared in the sky.

The scene to where the gang is and the three all landed in a tree, breaking their fall. "That was a close one… we could've been seriously hurt," Domino says, climbing down to the ground.

"You could say that again." James agrees, following Domino back to the ground by climbing down as well.

Soon Jessie follows her friends and climbs down to the ground from the tree. "Are you okay, Meowth?" But she hears no response and begins looking around. "Meowth?"

Domino and James both join Jessie in looking around for Meowth but no good luck. "Where is that talking cat?" Domino questioned.

"If my theory is correct, Meowth did not fall with us when Team Rocket's hot air balloon burst from lightning," James explained.

Jessie realizes, putting the pieces together. "So that means… MEOWTH IS WITH THEM?!"

The scene cuts to when Team Rocket's hot air balloon crashes and Meowth lands directly on Cassidy to break his fall as he slowly gains consciousness. "Thanks for breaking my fall, Jess." He is oblivious that he's on Cassidy.

"Yeah, don't mention it, but I'm not your twerpette of a trainer!" Cassidy yelled out.

"HUH?!" Meowth looks down, staring directly at Cassidy's face.

"Told ya!" Cassidy confirmed.

Meowth immediately jumps off and looks around to see Butch and Mondo, both of them slowly gaining consciousness too after the crash, but no signs of the gang. "Where's Jessie, Domino, and James?! I don't see them anywhere!"

"It seems like we got separated from the twerps when they accidentally fell from our hot air balloon," Mondo explained.

Butch looks at the disaster of Team Rocket's hot air balloon and sighs. "This is going to take forever to fix!"

"I'm getting out of here and gonna find my friends!" Meowth was about to sprint out of here.

"Hold it!" Cassidy exclaimed, causing Meowth to stop. "Do you even know where to look for your twerp friends?"

"No," Meowth admits. "But it's much better looking for them than to stay with you three!"

"Look at you, you're acting like your twerpette of a trainer. You also didn't trust us from the start." Butch says.

"I did trust you three, my friends were there to make sure you guys don't betray us!" Meowth replied.

"When we said that we're doing this because our Pokémon are infected too with this brainwashing, we meant it!" Cassidy said.

"Besides, you are going to trust us because there is no way you can handle those wild aggressive red-eyed Pokémon out there by yourself to look for your twerp friends." Mondo pointed out.

Butch gives Meowth a decision. "So what's it going to be, talking Meowth? You can run along now and try to handle those wild red-eyed Pokémon by yourself or you can stick with us on finding your friends?"

Meowth starts to think about it. "They do make a point… Looks like I have no other choice," he admits to himself in his thoughts. "Fine, I'll trust the three of you to find Jessie, James, and Domino," Meowth says out loud.

"Good. Okay, so how are we going to find the twerps? Which should be easy because we always manage to find you guys even by sheer coincidence." Cassidy jokes.

Mondo thought of an idea. "Well, if they're smart then the twerps should be heading to where the Power Plant is. We should go too and that's where we will find them."

"Hey guys, check this out!" Butch was looking at a sign as Team Rocket with Meowth followed where Butch was and he was pointing at a sign that says 'Route 9' on it. "Looks like we're at the beginning of Route 9!"

"What luck, we crashed near the sign," Meowth says.

"So if I can remember from James' map, we should be heading south right now, right?" Mondo questioned.

"Which means we should be heading in this direction!" Cassidy points in a random direction that's away from the sign which everyone responds with a facepalm.

"Cassidy, it's obvious that we should head in the direction that passes the sign!" Butch corrected.

Cassidy immediately crosses her arms and defends herself. "I know that, I was just testing you all to see if you're dumb."

"How are these three still together after all these days?" Meowth says to himself. "Let's go, I'm getting sick and tired of getting wet by this awful rain!" He says out loud.

As Team Rocket and Meowth head to Route 9, the scene cuts to the gang minus Meowth, still discussing. James is looking at his map while covering the map with his black cap from the rain. "Okay, let's think positively here. If we trust Team Rocket, then they should be heading to where the Power Plant is along with Meowth." He points at the spot on his map. "Which is at the end of this river, which means we should meet with them at the very top here!"

"Sounds like a plan, but here's a problem, where are we?!" Jessie questioned.

Domino looks around and doesn't have any sign or anything. "I don't see any Route sign or anything to indicate where we are."

A lightning bolt strikes the tree near the gang, the one they landed in after falling out of the hot air balloon, and a huge blast of thunder is heard thus immediately frightening the gang. "W-we almost got struck by lightning!" Jessie exclaimed with a stutter.

James notices a cave in the distance and points it out. "I see a cave nearby, come on!"

The gang all started running towards the cave while behind them, lightning was striking close to the left and right followed by thunder every time, but the gang made it to the entrance of the cave just in time. The three start catching their breath. "That was a close call…" Jessie says in between breaths.

"My clothes are all wet from the rain! It's making me shiver down my spine!" Domino starts shivering from being cold.

"Well we're not building a fire this time, we have to find Meowth immediately," Jessie says.

James starts looking at his map and notices something. "I think I know where we're currently at!"

Jessie and Domino both immediately look at James. "Where?" They both said together.

James begins explaining. "According to this map, we just passed Saffron City not so far ago and I think the hot air balloon must've got hit by lightning right around this mark." He points at the area between Route 5 and Route 10. "So, we must've landed on Route 10 and now we just arrived in Rock Tunnel!"

"That's a good thing, right?" Jessie asked.

"Well, at least we know our location and where to go, but Rock Tunnel is one of the darkest caves of them all. If you don't have any source of light then it's easy to get lost here in the darkness. Many people have entered Rock Tunnel before but have never returned." James explained.

What James said scared Jessie and Domino as they both gulped in fear. "A-at least we're out of the rain," Domino says.

"Well, we have to get to Meowth and Team Rocket and if this is the only way, then we have to go through Rock Tunnel. Do we at least have a light source?" Jessie asked.

"I got my handy dandy flashlight right here!" James pulls out his flashlight with a smile. "Let's hope it has enough battery to lead us to the cave."

James was about to go deeper into the cave until Domino stopped him. "Wait, do we have any Repel so no wild red-eyed Pokémon will attack us?" She asked.

"I already used up all of my emergency Repel, remember?" James answered. "Looks like we're going have to go in this cave without it."

Jessie sighs. "I wish this psychic brainwashing didn't affect our Pokémon too…"

The gang starts going deeper in the cave, as the darkness grows in Rock Tunnel, James turns on his flashlight. "Remember, stay close and DO NOT separate under any circumstances. Got it?"

Both Jessie and Domino nod in agreement as the scene cuts to where Team Rocket and Meowth are, walking through Route 9. Meowth starts getting annoyed by the rain. "Does anyone have an umbrella or something? I'm sick of this rain! I'm getting more wet every second!"

Butch growls in annoyance. "I'm surprised your twerpette of a trainer hasn't traded your ass yet for being completely annoying!"

Meowth's claws started glowing white, making them sharper. "You want to say that again, broccoli hair? Because I can scratch you so painful that you will be crying for your mommy!"

"MY HAIR DOESN'T LOOK LIKE BROCCOLI!" Butch screamed at Meowth.

Cassidy immediately covers Butch's mouth. "You idiot, are you trying to attract one of those red-eyed Pokémon to us?!"

Mondo gulps, seeing wild red-eyed Pokémon surrounding them. "I-I think it's too late for that." He pointed out.

Wild red-eyed Machop, Nidorino, Nidorina, Sandshrew, Fearow, and Ekans started surrounding Team Rocket and Meowth, all shouting out their cries to them, meaning the same four words; 'All humans are evil.'

Butch scoffs. "These Pokémon ain't so tough."

"Yeah, one of them ain't tough, but when they're coming in numbers, it's an opposite scenario!" Meowth exclaimed.

Cassidy starts getting worried as she looks at Meowth. "You're a Pokémon right?! Battle them!"

Meowth immediately shakes his head no. "I'm saving my energy for the legendary birds! Besides, I can't take down a group of them!"

The wild red-eyed Ekans shoot out the acid from their mouths at the Team Rocket trio, but Team Rocket quickly moves out of the way and the acid ends up hitting the wild red-eyed Machop.

Machop ends up crying in pain and holding its face, that's where Meowth gets an idea, pointing directly at Ekans. "That Ekans is working for those evil humans!" All the wild red-eyed Pokémon tune their attention to the Ekans as the talking Pokémon whispers to Team Rocket. "Come on, let's go!"

Team Rocket and Meowth quickly get out of there as they escape from the wild red-eyed Pokémon, all they can hear behind them as they run away is the sound of the cry of Ekans. "Poor Ekans…" Mondo says, feeling a little bad.

"It was you three or the Ekans, come on, we gotta get out of here," Meowth ordered.

The scene cuts to the gang walking in Rock Tunnel and staying very close together as total darkness surrounds them and James' flashlight is the only thing keeping them in darkness altogether. "Hopefully the other end of the cave is where we're currently going." He says.

"Wait, are you saying you're not sure where you're going?!" Domino says, a little worried.

"Let's not yell and attract one of those wild red-eyed Pokémon towards us, alright?" Jessie warned.

James bumps into something while walking, causing Jessie and Domino to bump into him from behind. "James, what the hell man?" Domino questioned.

"Sorry, I think I bumped into a wall?" James starts feeling the 'wall.' "This is some weird wall, it's very roundish."

Jessie and Domino look up and start panicking once seeing the glow of the red-eyes and they immediately try to warn James. "JAMES, LOOK UP!"

James looks up, pointing the flashlight up as well and the face of a wild red-eyed Onix is revealed in the light, roaring and causing the gang to scream in fear. The gang immediately runs away as Onix begins chasing them. "DO NOT SEPARATE!" Jessie screamed out loud. She holds onto Domino's hand and Domino holds onto James' hand to make sure they don't separate.

The wild red-eyed Onix continues chasing the gang until the Pokémon decides to go underground. The gang looks back and notices the glowing red-eyes are gone as James shines the flashing to the direction behind them and no sight of a wild red-eyed Onix. "Did it decide to leave us alone?" Domino questioned.

"Maybe?" James answered until the gang started feeling the ground shaking and he realized. "ONIX USED DIG!"

The gang quickly let go of their hands to dive out of the way as the wild red-eyed Onix burst from underground where the gang was previously standing, but the Onix accidentally hit the roof of the cave, causing a huge noise to go out throughout the cave and also knocking itself out in the process. "We have to find the way out of here, now!" Jessie demanded.

The gang runs off in the cave before cutting to Team Rocket and Meowth on Route 9 who were hiding behind a tree from a wild red-eyed Sandshrew, as the mouse Pokémon walks by, Cassidy directs the single. "Okay, the coast is clear." Team Rocket and Meowth come out of hiding and continue walking.

"Is it me or are there more wild Pokémon out there than before this whole mess started?" Mondo questioned.

"They probably are looking for humans, that's why there are so many," Meowth answered.

"We gotta fix this before it becomes even more difficult to explore!" Butch ordered.

"We're already trying to do that, broccoli hair!" Meowth replied with the same insult from earlier.

Butch's face becomes red from anger and is about to explode until Cassidy covers his mouth. "Butch, you're not going to bring another Pokémon to us with your screaming! And as for you, talking Meowth, if we're going to work together, I suggest you stop with the insults!"

Meowth looks away and crosses his arms. "Whatever…"

The sound of a screaming Pokémon was heard throughout the distance. "FEAROW! FEAROW! FEAROW!"

Team Rocket and Meowth stop dead in their tracks, looking around. "What was that?!" Mondo asked.

"Well, it sounds like a Fearow, isn't it obvious?" Butch answered.

"I heard it from above us." Cassidy looks up and her eyes widen as she starts getting worried. "G-guys!" She points up.

Butch, Mondo, and Meowth all look up and they see three red-eyed Fearow flying above them and screaming out their cries. "FEAROW! FEAROW! FEAROW!"

"Th-those Fearow don't look happen to see us," Mondo says with a gulp.

One of the Fearow swoops down and tries to grab one of the Team Rocket trio with their feet, but Cassidy moves out of the way just in time. "Hey!"

"We need to run! Let's get out of here!" Meowth gets on all of his floors and starts running out of there.

Butch pulls out one of his net bazookas and tries to capture the three wild red-eyed Fearow, but they end up dodging it easily. This made the Fearow even more mad. "I think I just made them even more mad…" Butch says.

"You think?!" Cassidy exclaimed in disbelief.

"Come on, we got to run!" Mondo ends up dodging another Fearow attack. "NOW!"

The Team Rocket trio starts running as Butch throws the net bazooka so he can catch up with her partners-in-crime and Meowth. The three wild red-eyed Fearow begin chasing Team Rocket and Meowth, swooping down each second of trying to grab one of the Team Rocket trio but keep dodging and dodging each time.

"Wait a minute, why isn't the Fearow attacking you?!" Butch asked Meowth.

"Maybe it's because I'm a Pokémon and not human!" Meowth answered. "Just keep running!"

One of the Fearow manages to grab Mondo with its feet as he lets out a scream. "AH!"

"MONDO!" Both Cassidy and Butch screamed back as they quickly grabbed Mondo by his legs before the wild red-eyed Fearow could take him higher in the air. Now they're playing a tug of war and Mondo is the center rope.

Mondo starts wincing in pain. "Just let me go! This hurts!"

"We're not letting go, Mondo! Butch, pull harder!" Cassidy demanded.

Cassidy and Butch try to pull harder, but the tug of war ends as Fearow's peck begins glowing white and pecks Cassidy and Butch to let go of Mondo and then they fly off with him. "MONDO!" Cassidy and Butch screamed out.

"Poor little guy, no time for grieving, let's get to the Power Plant!" Meowth commanded.

"Are you serious?!" Cassidy says in disbelief. "One of our buddies just got picked off by an aggressive Fearow!"

"Maybe it would've been appreciated if you helped us!" Butch added with a yell too.

"I'm sorry guys, okay?! But if those Fearow see me helping humans like you, then now they will go after me!" Meowth answered.

"Oh, so you didn't help because you care about yourself?! Mondo could be dead right now and it could be all your fault because of your selfish reason!" Oblivious from Cassidy is that Butch got snagged by a Fearow off guard behind her.

"CASSIDY!" Butch screamed out after being snagged by one of the Fearow.

"BUTCH!" Cassidy tries to grab Butch's leg, but it is too late as the wild red-eyed Fearow flies off. She begins frustratingly crying, stomping the ground in frustration.

Meowth looks concerned for her, feeling bad. "Hey… I'm sorry, okay? You're right, I should've helped."

Cassidy slowly turns around directly to Meowth and she is about to say something, but the third wild red-eyed Fearow snags her up too. "HEY! LET ME GO, YOU STUPID BIRD!"

Meowth rushes towards Cassidy and tries to save her by grabbing her leg, but Fearow is a whole lot stronger and manages to still hold onto Cassidy despite Meowth holding onto her leg. "Aw hell!" Meowth lets go of Cassidy's leg and lands back on the ground.

"Don't worry, I will find a way out of this, just go and find your twerp friends!" Cassidy screamed out before being taken away by the wild red-eyed Fearow.

Meowth sighs. "Maybe I should've trusted them from the beginning…" The talking Pokémon runs off to try to find the gang, but as he runs off, the wind starts picking up. "No! Not now! Stupid wind!" Meowth growls as he is now trying to fight the wind to search for his friends.

The scene cuts to the gang still inside Rock Tunnel after being confronted by the Onix, catching their breath. "That was a close one…" Domino says in relief.

"Come on, let's get back to getting out of this cave." James tries to turn on his flashlight, but it doesn't turn on, he starts getting worried. "Oh no…"

"What is it, James?" Jessie asked.

"I-I think the batteries just died on my flashlight!" James answered with a gulp.

"WHAT?!" Both Jessie and Domino said in shock. "What are we going to do?! We have no flashlight, no kind of light, anything to help us lead through this dark cave!" Domino said and started panicking.

"Well, the first thing I'm going to do is take off my shades, because these will just make the darkness worse!" James takes off his sunglasses. "Okay, even without our flashlight, we can still get out of this cave. We just have to stick together. Also, do not separate!"

"But how are we going to know which way to go? I can't see any direction in front of me." Jessie says.

James raises his finger, getting an idea. "We just keep going straight until we hit a wall and then we go right and keep hanging onto the wall."

Domino starts shaking from fear. "Th-this better work!"

"Alright, let's hold onto each other so no one separates," James suggested.

James was in the front, Domino was in the middle, and Jessie was in the back, as they held hands and continued walking straight through the Rock Tunnel. A few seconds passed and Domino felt something grabbing her rear and she automatically assumed it was Jessie, blushing intensely with anger. "You stupid pervert!" She turns around and slaps Jessie across the face.

"OW!" Jessie screams in pain. "What was that for?!"

"For grabbing my ass, duh!" Domino responded to her.

Jessie immediately defends herself. "I swear on my mother's grave I did not do that!"

"Then who did?!" Domino questioned. "There's nothing here except the three of us!"

"Guys, can we go back to walking here?" James rhetorically says.

As the gang continues walking straight, the farther they get a wild red-eyed Haunter appears and starts laughing while saying its cry. "Ha! Ha! Ha!" The Haunter then disappears.

The gang keeps walking straight until James' foot hits a cave wall and orders his friends to stop. "I just hit a wall."

Jessie and Domino both stop as well. "Okay, so we go right?" Jessie questioned.

James nods. "Yep, we follow the wall and go right. Let's hope this works…"

The gang turns right and continues walking while clinging to the cave wall. The wild red-eyed Haunter appears again but this time behind James as it flicks him at the back of his head with its finger and quickly disappears.

James starts rubbing the back of his head. "Domino, why did you flick me?"

Domino shakes her head, denying. "What are you talking about? I didn't flick you at all."

"Could've been my imagination?" James turns the rubbing to scratching of the back of his head from being confused.

Jessie immediately speaks up. "No! Because Domino assumed I grabbed her ass which wasn't true at all! Something suspicious is going on. We need another light."

"How are we going to make a new light source?" Domino asked. "Our fire-type Pokémon are still brainwashed and James' flashlight battery is dead."

"Okay, here's my idea. Everyone, try to find two sticks on the ground." Jessie explained.

The gang starts feeling the ground for any sticks and a few seconds later, Domino finds a stick on the cave ground. "Found one!" She exclaimed.

James feels around the ground some more and he ends up feeling a stick, picking it up. "Found one too!"

"Great! Now who knows how to rub extremely fast with two sticks?" Jessie asked.

James immediately knows Jessie's plan. "Oh, I see your plan now, Jess. Domino, give me your stick, I'll try to rub them."

Domino gives James the stick she found and James starts rubbing the two sticks together very fast. After a few seconds of rubbing, the two sticks spark and create a fire on the tip, creating two torches. "Bingo!" Jessie says in delight.

James aims the torch in front of Jessie and behind her he sees the wild red-eyed Haunter trying to mess with her. "Jessie, behind you!"

The Haunter quickly disappears as Jessie immediately looks behind her, not seeing anything. "What were you trying to warn me about again, James?"

"There was a brainwashed Haunter behind her, it looks like it was trying to do something to you, which explains what is going on." James looks around. "Alright Haunter, you can stop with this act!"

The wild red-eyed Haunter appears in front of them and starts laughing as it cries. "Ha! Ha! Ha!"

"So you're the one who grabbed my bottom?!" Domino shouts fearlessly, running up to punch the wild red-eyed Haunter. "I'm going to teach you a lesson!"

The Haunter stands there and lets Domino punch them and her fist fades into Haunter as they start laughing. "Ha! Ha! Ha!"

Jessie whispers into James' ear. "You know, for a brainwashed Pokémon, Haunter doesn't act like it at all."

James whispers back. "It's like with the wild Slowbro we encountered back at the Seafoam Islands, Pokémon might be brainwashed into thinking people are evil, but their personalities remain the same."

The Haunter turns around and starts floating away while laughing. "Ha! Ha! Ha!"

"Get back here you Haunter creep!" Domino starts chasing the wild Haunter.

"DOMINO!" Both James and Jessie screamed before chasing after Domino, lighting what was in front of them with the two torches. "She's gonna get herself lost!" Jessie says.

"What happened to our plan about sticking with the wall, Domino?!" James asked.

"Screw the plan! I want revenge on that perverted Haunter!" Domino replied with a furious tone.

Haunter continues floating away while its cry signals it's laughing. "Ha! Ha! Ha!"

"You know, Haunter can just disappear at any time, must be enjoying this," Jessie explained.

James nods in agreement. "Pretty much."

After a few seconds of Domino chasing the wild red-eyed Haunter and Jessie and James chasing Domino throughout Rock Tunnel, Haunter stops and turns back around to face Domino and lets her catch up. "Now I got you! I'm going to catch you so I can rip away your freedom as a Pokémon!" Domino quickly pulls out an empty Poké Ball and throws it towards the Haunter.

"Ha! Ha! Ha!" Haunter does an akanbe to Domino before completely disappearing as the Poké Ball hits the ground where Haunter was at.

Domino growls in frustration. "Stupid ghost Pokémon."

Soon, Jessie and James catch up to Domino with the torches in their hands. "Domino why did you run off?!" Jessie exclaimed.

James frowns. "Now we might be completely lost in the dark of Rock Tunnel."

"I'm sorry guys, I just wanted to teach that Haunter a lesson." Domino looks towards her and she starts seeing a little light in the distance and she perks up. "Is that… light in the distance?!"

"What?!" Both Jessie and James said as they looked where Domino was looking and they both spotted light in the distance. "It might be! Come on!" James sprints towards the light as Jessie and Domino follow.

The light led the gang out of Rock Tunnel. As soon as the trio entered outside, they were met with a strong heavy wind as they started covering their body with their hands. "What is this crazy wind?!" Domino exclaimed.

"We made it out of Rock Tunnel, but what happened when we were in there?" Jessie asked.

The gang soon heard thunder back to back and then saw a lot of lightning strikes following up with more thunder as the wind continued to blow heavily. James sees a Pokémon Center in the distance. "I see a Pokémon Center, come on!" He starts leading his friends to the Pokémon Center.

But as soon as the gang reached the building, there was a note attached to the door. Jessie reads the note to the gang. "'We are deeply sorry, but due to Kanto falling from the Pokémon with red glowing eyes and the weather, this Pokémon Center is officially closed.'"

Domino groans. "I could've used a rest to get out of this storm!"

The gang heard another sound of thunder as the three all looked at each other. "We better find Meowth and Team Rocket right now," James says as Jessie and Domino nod before sprinting off.

The scene cuts to Meowth trying to get through this tough wind as he continues walking. "This wind is blowing so hard I can barely walk through it!" A hard gust of wind blows, sending Meowth flinging backward a little as he hits the ground and groans. "I hate being a Pokémon sometimes…" Meowth slowly gets up and what was waiting for him was a wild red-eyed Primeape staring directly at him.

The Primeape screams its cry directly at Meowth. "PRIMEAPE! PRIMEAPE! PRIMEAPE!" ("ALL HUMANS ARE EVIL! ALL HUMANS ARE EVIL! ALL HUMANS ARE EVIL!")

Meowth awkwardly looks around, trying to avoid eye contact with the wild Primeape, and then thinks of a strategy, repeating what the Primeape said. "All humans are evil. All humans are evil. All humans are evil."

The wild red-eyed Primeape stares down at Meowth who's still avoiding eye contact. Meowth's strategy works as the Primeape walks away, thinking that Meowth is one of them. "But sometimes I love being one!" Meowth chuckles before sprinting off.

The scene cuts to Meowth arriving at a location where a river is right next, still trying to fight the dangerous wind. "This pesky wind!" He then hears familiar voices in the distance, immediately looking in that direction.

"This wind is super strong, I can barely navigate!" One of the familiar voices said, which sounded like Domino.

"If we were lightweight, we would be blown away right from this strong wind." Another familiar voice is said, sounding like James.

"I don't care how strong this wind is, we got to find Meowth!" With that familiar voice sounding like Jessie, Meowth realizes it's his three friends.

"Guys, it's me!" Meowth shouted, running toward the gang with happiness.

The gang hears Meowth and notices, all shouting with joy. "MEOWTH!" Jessie starts running toward the talking Pokémon.

Jessie and Meowth were running toward each other, but before they could officially reunite with a hug, the wind blew aggressively once more, however this time, the wind was blowing so hard that it completely pushed Meowth into the river next to them. "AAAAAHHHHH!" Meowth let out a frightening scream before sinking underwater.

Jessie hears a splash and she's worried. "MEOWTH! I'LL SAVE YOU!" She dives straight into the river to save Meowth.

"JESSIE!" Both Domino and James before they immediately follow her by also diving into the river.

The river was flowing aggressively from the hard-blowing wind, pushing the gang downstream. Jessie sees Meowth, trying to reach for the surface but continues sinking further down until Jessie grabs Meowth and saves him from sinking even further down in the river.

Domino and James soon appear behind Jessie after also diving after her. She looks at them and nods in approval as Domino and James nod back at her.

The gang looks forward, still underwater, and what they see coming after them is a wild red-eyed Seaking swimming towards them with its horn pointing straight towards Jessie.

Jessie widened her eyes in panic and quickly swam out of the way, dodging Seaking's horn. She then has a relieved look on her face.

Domino and James also had a relief look as well, until they saw two more wild red-eyed Seaking coming towards them, pointing their horns at the two this time. With a quick reaction, Domino and James also swam out of the way to dodge a potential poison sting from the Seakings' horns.

Jessie points up the surface, signaling to surface above the water as Domino and James nod, the three swam back up with Jessie carrying Meowth tightly and they resurfaced, taking deep breaths. "That was a close one…" Jessie says.

Domino noticed the harsh flow of the river started to calm down and so did the wind, as she and the two started flowing calmly now. Domino tells her friends to use this opportunity. "The river's flow is calming, now's our chance to get back on the surface before the wind starts picking up again!"

Jessie and James immediately nod as the gang swam to the surface aside from them. Domino and James resurfaced back on the grassy land first as Jessie placed Meowth back on the surface before resurfacing herself. "Is everyone alright?" She asked.

"Yeah," Domino responds. "We almost got poisoned by those horns of Seaking."

Meowth starts coughing, he looks at his arms covered in water, completely in horror. "A cat isn't supposed to be this wet!"

Jessie raises her eyebrow. "Just be grateful that we found you before you drowned."

Meowth immediately nods. "Right. Sorry, Jess. Thank you for saving me."

James is looking at something that the others are not, so he informs them. "Hey guys, you might want to look at what's in front of us."

Jessie, Meowth, and Domino soon join James in the direction where he's looking and what they see is a building with four smokestacks on top. "We surfaced near a building?" Domino questioned.

"Wait a minute, is this the Power Plant that we were currently heading towards?!" Jessie immediately questioned.

James zips open his backpack and pulls out his map, looking at it. "It looks like this is it. This building is officially the Power Plant."

The gang continues staring directly at the Power Plant ahead of them as the narrator starts wrapping up. "After a long and dangerous trail to find Meowth, facing many red-eyed Pokémon along their way, the gang manages to get to their location, the Power Plant, where Zapdos is rumored to be inside. With another one of the legendary birds nearby, can Meowth be able to battle and defeat this one? Find out as the journey continues!"
