H'el looked at Kyōraku Shunsui with a calm gaze and said, "I'm not a bloodthirsty person. It's just that they're obstructing me, you know? If you can keep these self-important guys from bothering me, show me."
He slowly lowered his hand facing Kyōraku Shunsui.
He didn't care about the coordination among nobles; that was their business. From the beginning, H'el simply wanted to learn about the Soul King and the creation of the world by the five great noble families for his own future plans.
However, many things do not proceed according to one's will. But, unfortunately for them, H'el possessed great power, enough to turn any external interference into his own will.
When that time comes, who knows what the world will look like?
"Thank you for trusting me, H'el," Kyōraku Shunsui said, clearly understanding H'el. He felt relieved that H'el was willing to hold back.
With a simple gesture, H'el had effortlessly torn off Tsunayashiro Tokida's arm, despite the latter's captain-level strength. A slight delay would have left Tsunayashiro Tokida dead without a trace.
Kyōraku Shunsui shuddered at the thought of H'el using a power so intense that it would summon the gates of Hell. It was best not to provoke such force.
He finally understood the true intent of old man Yamamoto. Maintaining stability in the Three Realms with H'el around was no simple task. Especially since few knew of H'el's power to destroy the Three Realms, some foolish individuals might still dare to provoke him.
Despite receiving H'el's assurance, things often developed in unexpected ways.
Tsunayashiro Tokida, clutching his severed arm, staggered and sneered, his eyes filled with malice.
"Heh... heh... Did you forget that this is the Great Spirit Library Corridor, under the Tsunayashiro family's control?" Tsunayashiro Tokida's face was pale, but he wore a twisted, vicious smile.
He had failed to amuse himself and nearly died, all without even starting a proper fight. H'el had effortlessly torn off his arm.
Tsunayashiro Tokida's mind began to twist further. To him, the conversation between Kyōraku Shunsui and H'el was the utmost provocation.
Did they think he couldn't resist? They spoke as if he were nothing.
H'el stood calmly, watching Kyōraku Shunsui handle Tsunayashiro Tokida. Whatever the outcome, it was all the same to H'el.
Even if he had to make a move himself.
Kyōraku Shunsui turned to Tsunayashiro Tokida, his sword's tip pointing at him. In a cold voice, he said, "Please do not act recklessly. I will report my presence in the Great Spirit Library Corridor to Captain-Commander Yamamoto and give an account to the Tsunayashiro family head.
"But Tsunayashiro Tokida, if you still intend to use your family's status and meager strength to attack H'el, then I'm sorry. Even if you are a former classmate under old man Yamamoto, I will kill you here."
Kyōraku Shunsui's voice carried a cold resolve. He was doing what a Shinigami should do. Shinigami existed to maintain the balance of the Three Realms, beyond good and evil.
He sensed that Tsunayashiro Tokida's actions were destabilizing the Three Realms.
"Hah hah hah... You are as cold and unfeeling as ever, like a woman exuding icy resolve. But this is the Great Spirit Library Corridor, under the Tsunayashiro family's control!"
Tsunayashiro Tokida's grin grew more menacing, his eyes fierce and cruel. His voice rose as he shouted, "Die here, Kyōraku Shunsui! I will torment your family, your clan, and everything you hold dear!"
He laughed wickedly, his voice echoing through the corridor. Blood dripped from his arm as he stepped back.
Kyōraku Shunsui's eyes flashed with killing intent. In an instant, he used Shunpo, his shallow sword's blade gleaming as it aimed straight for Tsunayashiro Tokida's heart.
But it was too late.
Tsunayashiro Tokida, grinning maliciously, stepped back into a bookshelf, which rippled like water, absorbing him.
"Be buried here in the Great Spirit Library Corridor! Heh heh heh..." His voice echoed from the bookshelf, filled with sinister laughter.
Kyōraku Shunsui's sword stabbed into the bookshelf.
Suddenly, the space of the Great Spirit Library Corridor began to shift like the mirror dimension. The shelves and space twisted and turned, rolling over towards the two of them.
Kyōraku Shunsui pulled his sword from the shelf and watched the twisting space approach, frowning deeply. He quickly retreated with Shunpo.
"It seems your old classmate didn't understand your good intentions," H'el remarked as he watched Kyōraku Shunsui dodge continuously.
Kyōraku Shunsui sighed, "I'm sorry, H'el. I didn't expect things to go this way."
Internally, he felt deeply frustrated. Tsunayashiro Tokida had truly courted death by provoking H'el.
"Doesn't matter, then I'll make a move," H'el said nonchalantly.
If Tsunayashiro Tokida wanted to cause trouble, he would handle it. If the Tsunayashiro family wanted to stop him, they could try. If the Gotei 13 or the Royal Guard wanted to intervene, they could join in too.
"I just didn't want you to have to act." Kyōraku Shunsui said, lamenting how things had escalated.
The space of the Great Spirit Library Corridor twisted more aggressively, pressing Kyōraku Shunsui's movements. Forced to retreat, he reappeared beside H'el.
With the twisting space closing in, there was no time to create an exit path for them both.
H'el casually tossed Kyōraku Shunsui out of the Great Spirit Library Corridor, back to the pavilion by the lake. At the same time, he activated the small world stored in Rangiku's body, disappearing in an instant.
