Upon seeing the pace at which Qin Su'E was eating, Qin Xue slowed down her own pace, only eating a little every now and then.

"Qin Xue, why aren't you eating?"

Qin Su'E asked this when she noticed that Qin Xue wasn't eating.

"I'm still eating, don't worry about me, I won't hold back."

Qin Xue smiled. Having already had her meal, ordering so much was her way of dealing with Qin Su'E.

Her motive for having these dishes, was to keep Qin Su'E's mind at peace.

"Qin Xue, let's toast a cup. When we were young, we couldn't drink, but now that we are grown up and married, we can. Let's taste it together to see what it's like."

Qin Su'E held up her glass to Qin Xue, signalling her to do the same.

"Sure, I would like to taste it to see why so many people like it, even to the point of addiction."

Qin Xue raised her glass as if she had never drank before.

"Okay, cheers."

Qin Su'E took a sip and laughed even harder after seeing Qin Xue finish her drink.

"Su'E, aren't you drinking?"
