"You've gone to a lot of trouble, Mrs. Li." Qin Xue was somewhat embarrassed; they had prepared all this food and she hadn't helped at all.

"It's no trouble, come on, eat more, you look too slim. Is it because Molin doesn't feed you?" Chen Lei joked, seeing how slim Qin Xue was.

"No, no, I always eat a lot, but somehow I just can't put on weight." Actually it wasn't that Qin Xue wasn't putting on weight, she just wouldn't let herself. She didn't want to be fat so after every meal she worked out and drank spiritual spring water to avoid gaining weight due to fear of metabolic syndrome.

Yet now, she couldn't exactly tell Mrs. Li that she didn't want to gain weight. It would be hurtful, after they'd gone to so much trouble to prepare such delicious food. All she could do was eat, then work it off later. After all, she wanted to enjoy the meal and exercise.
