Chapitre 18: Chapter 15 - Honkai Impact - Sirin's Awakening

"Y-you, I give up."

"Don't feel bad, this was to be expected. You fought only the Honkai, whereas my experience in combat comes from fighting Humans. There is a large difference in experience between us." I said as I held my duel guns, a Hawkmoon in my left and Last Word in my right, pointed at her head as I pressed her down with my foot.

I stepped off her and offered her a hand to get up from off the floor.

"Sorry, but you asked for this fight. Now that's settled, the reason I came here was to help you. Your friends Siegfried and Welt are concerned for your well being."

Theresa, hearing his words mention his friends, let down her guard and decided to have some trust in me. She took my hand and I lifted her petite body to stand on her feet.

"Are you done yet?" The impatient voice of a young girl resounded in the empty void, making both I and Theresa turn to look at its source, which was Sirin herself.

This time, she wasn't in white lab clothes like she was in the memories, but had her signature clothing she wore as the Herrscher of the Void.

"Sirin..." Theresa started but Sirin cut her off.

"Ah good, you are done! I have an offer for the two of you."

"What offer?" I said as I looked at Sirin, having a feeling that I know exactly what it is.

"Join me in destroying Humanity from the face of this world!" Sirin proclaimed as floated in the air outstreching her hands in a display of her power.

"You say that, but I'm a Human. Do you intend to kill the both of us as well?" I asked her while pointing to me and Theresa.

"You are the exception. We are all the same, you and I know the pain and torture these vile Human inflicted upon us through their vile experiments to help themselves. Even at the disregard of other's lives, you yourself even admitted it. And you little girl, I can smell the Honkai on you. That makes us sisters, does it not? The both of you, join me and let us make the world burn..."

There was a moment of silence as I and Theresa looked at one another. Theresa was wary of me as I was a stranger and if what Sirin described about me was true, there was a chance in her kind I would help Sirin. But she had the belief I wouldn't want to literally wipe out all Human life.

Theresa cupped her hands together almost like a prayer.

"I am really sorry for what they did, Sirin...but I cannot join you. I beg you to stop your quest for revenge or I'll be forced to stop you here."

Sirin didn't say anything but give a "hmph" sound of annoyance before she turned to face me waiting my answer.

"Wiping out all Human life is a bit extreme for what the few scientists of Shicksal did. Do you intend to kill every man, woman and infant child, what about a helpless 2 year old baby? Did they do anything wrong? What about the friends you had? Agatha, Avrora and Bella? They were Human? What about your mother?...I didn't say I wouldn't help you, but at the very least I'll help you destroy all of Shicksal from the face of the Earth, and even the main one responsible in your suffering. The head of Shicksal Otto Apocalypse."

Sirin's face lit up with joy at my words, although she was still somewhat sad and disappointed that this man wasn't fully on board with her plan to destroy Humanity, there was still some truth in his words.

What crimes did the children do, it was only the adults of Shicksal that had caused her suffering. As for Theresa, if Sirin ever found out that Theresa was actually an Adult let alone the fact that she is Otto's "granddaughter". Sirin would spare no effort in making sure Theresa was wiped from the face of the Earth without a trace.

"I knew you would make the right choice, as for you girl, I am somewhat disappointed. I thought showing you my past would turn you to my side, I think you need to cool off and think things over. I'll be keeping this."

Sirin said as the surface Theresa was standing on, turned to water engulfing her whole, while Sirin took the Oath of Judah from here before she vanished completely.

I didn't really care about Theresa since she'll be fine, but what I was concerned about was the Oath of Judah. Even though it was a useless Divine Key for me to aquire and take back to the Borderlands Universe, it was still a Divine Key all the same.

What is a Divine Key?

Why does it have so much power to rival a Herrscher?

The truth is, they are Herrscher Cores transformed into weapons.

In the Previous Era, when Humanity fought against the original past Era Herrschers, they discovered a way to create weapons using a nanobot metalic substance called Soulium. Using Soulium they merged it with the Herrscher Cores they extracted from the dead bodies of the Herrschers they defeated one by one.

All the Divine Keys were unique, but I don't want them all. Many would take too long to get or was heavily guarded, especially the 2nd Divine Key which was a Train that can travel across the Sea Of Quanta to other universes on the Imaginary Tree. This Divine Key was made with the Herrscher of the Void's Core of the Previous Era.

The Divine Keys I want to aquire are powerful and easy to obtain.

Water's Edge, a sword that can control the element of water. It was one of hundreds of Divine Key swords created using the fragments of the Herrscher of Domination's Core. But it was kinda weak.

Judgement of Shamash, made from the Core of the Herrscher of Fire. The most destructive Divine Key that can even kill the user and their enimies. Only Kevin Kaslana with the Parvati Genes to control Ice can weild this deadly Overpowered Divine Key without dying unlike 23 Kaslana's over the last 1500 years who all have perished when they unleashed its true power.

Fenghuang Down, the Key of Sentience. Made from the Core of the Herrscher of Sentience. It had the ability to create illusions and put the affected party into a dream world via controlling their mind. It was so utterly broken that I was terrified of the current wielder of Fenghuang Down, Fu Hua.

Fu Hua, the protector of Zhenzou and one of the heroines of Honkai Impact 3rd, is a mentor of the trio main characters and is Overpowered as Hell. She is ranked as a A rank Valkyrie when the truth is, she is S Rank and can fight a Herrscher all by herself. In a later arc of the game, she has to use up her memories to activate Fenghuang Down, which is one of the requirements of this specific Divine Key, and because of that and other things. The Herrscher of Sentience in the current era was born within the dead body of Fu Hua.

But Fu Hua being who she is was an Immortal because of her MANTIS genes having a Phoenix type Honkai Beast inside her which specialised in fire and regeneration. She had lost her Immortality because of a betrayal by her students thousands of years ago, but had a new body for her made by Otto after her original was killed by Otto hinself. Ironic.

The current era Herrscher of Sentience born in Fu Hua's dead body, had obtained her 50,000 memories from the original Fu Hua which overrides the desire to destroy Humanity from the Will of Honkai. But everyone calls her Senti for short.

She was a powerhouse able to solo and stand against both Kevin and Durandal, even making Durandal struggle and sweat, although if Kevin took things seriously he would trash Senti. But still impressive all the same being able to hold out against him.

'I wonder if i can create Senti early. Herrschers are only born in a certain order, but there are exceptions. I'll need to aquire Fenghuang Down once Fu Hua uses her ultimate move against Sirin, there's no way I can't her on directly. I'll need ro wait untll she falls unconscious. Then I can get Fenghuang Down, copy her 50,000 years of memories right as she uses her ultimate move, kill or capture Otto, aquire Void Archives all in one go, and maybe even take Water's Edge. As for Oath of Judah, yeah I don't need it.'

(A/n Sorry for filler info but I needed to clarify it all in one go for u guys that don't know Honkai Impact lore)

I snapped out of my thoughts as I decided on my plan of action going forwards and if I should take the Oath of Judah right now or not since i won't see it again for a while after this, which I decided the latter.

"Sirin you know it's rude calling people Humans, it basic courtesy to call them by their name!"

Sirin's gaze turned away from the Oath of Judah to look at me.

"Hmph! And why should I? I was viewed as trash to them, meant only to be used and thrown away. If you so instant on me calling you Humans by your names, then you will announce me ad your Queen."

"No can do, my name is Raime Hawke. You are too young to be called Queen, the best i can do is call you Princess. And you are to call me Dad in return."

"Y-you! How dare you I-I-" Sirin blushed as she desperately tried to recover mentally from the situation.

"What's the matter my little Princess? You don't want me to be your Dad? I was going to give you such a nice special gift in return."

After I said that my face turned serious as I stared at Sirin. Likewise, Sirin got on guard, she felt uneasy when she saw his serious expression dispersing the earlier embarrassment she had felt.

"I can re-" Before Raime could finish what he wanted to say, he was interrupted as the Oath of Judah had unleashed its chains in all directions stunning both of them.

The two of them retreated away from the Oath of Judah and waited for whatever was happening to end. A few moments later Theresa reappeared as she was holding one of the shar tipped ends of the chains connected to the Oath of Judah.

"Haha, I'm back! You can't get rid of me, Sirin! I suould have told you that Judah and i are bound as one. Give up, girl! I don't want to fight you" Theresa said as she got in her battle stance with the enlarged body sized gold cross, Oath of Judah in her hand.

Sirin eyes widened in anger when she saw Theresa brandishing her weapon to fight her. She was still a twelve year old girl after all having experienced everything she had, she naturally couldn't hold her emotions back when the person she believed that could understand and sympathise with choose to be her enemy and oppose her. Which was tantamount to agreeing with the ones that experimented and tortured her!

"How can you turn against me even after listening to my story? I'll kill you in a blink of an eye!" Sirin yelled as she created a perculier Lance shaped weapon, her signature method of attack.

"Block the lance, Judah!" Theresa yelled as the mental command made the Oath of Judah move in front of her to block the approaching attack.

The Spear moved at fast speeds but slowed down as it came in contact with the Oath of Judah as it seemingly passed and phased through both the Divine Key and Theresa's body itself.

"I said I'll kill you in a blink of an eye~ the voice of Sirin shocked Theresa as she understood what happened but by then it was too late.

The lance materialised and blood splattered in all directions as the lance was impaled in her torso leaving a large hole once the lance vanished into nothingness.

Raime calmly approached Theresa and checked her wound.

'She'll live. The Vishnu genes gives her a immensely powerful physique ontop of having the absorbed power of a Kaslana's body. If she eats just a few things she could easily Regenerate using her Vishnu genes but she's a idiot and doesn't even know about that. But even passively she should recover though it'll take a while.' He thought.

He reached down and touched Theresa's body. He had Psychometry, the innate generic ability of the Prothean race from the Mass Effect Universe, of which he has the DNA of thanks to his Hybrid Serum.

(A/n ill re-post all his DNA and things he has at end of chapter ao you don't have to re read again everything just to look for it.)

Psychometry can absorb the knowledge of anything he touches be it living or inanimate and gain its experiences. By touching Theresa, he had obtained all her combat knowledge, secrets of Shicksal and so on.

He also quickly purchased a special syringe in the System Store for only $30,000 which can both extract the specific DNA from Theresa he wanted.

Now he had both genes he came to this world primarily for.

Kaslana gene, for the incredibly powerful physique and Parvati Gene

Vishnu, the Emperor-Class Honkai Beast gene

Now all that was left was a handful of other things and a few Divine Keys.

"Did you really have to do that to her Sirin? You may have reacted a bit overboard."

"Are you siding with her as well? Do you want to share her fate?" Sirin said as she created a few lances around her pointing towards me.

"I'm simply telling you that. Think about it from her perspective, she is a kind hearted woman that wants to help peope. She has never suffered and experienced the same things we had so she wouldn't understand truly. Also, you said you wanted to destroy ALL of Humanity instead of punishing the ones responsible. Shicksal. I'll help you in destroying Shicksal...First. But not in destroying Humanity, until you destroy Shicksal, then I'll have this talk with you again and see if you actually want to continue in trying to destroy the world or not." I explained, on guard and ready to teleport or fly at any moment. My Siren Wings can come out in an instant at my command.

Siren seemed to be deep in thought, but I had no idea what she was thinking.

As I waited for her response, in the tense silence, only the slow rhythmic humming of her floating lances turning was any indication to the presence of sound still being present in this Imaginary Space.

*Brzzip*

The silence was broken as the sound of electricity and a tearing sound overlapped with one another.

The two of us turned to look at the source of the sound to see Welt Yang himself with glowing red eyes, having used his Herrscher ability, in tearing open the rift that separated the real world into this Imaginary Space.

"Your little game of hide and seek is over."

As the two Herrschers, one an "Seraphim" of "God" and the other a "Traitor to God" both stared at one another, Welt gave me and Theresa a quick glance as I was within his peripheral view along with Sirin.

He saw the lances around Sirin and must have come to a conclusion in his head, but confirmatios would need to be made.

From what I can guess, I assume Welt determined I was the figure that sped past his view when I entered the Honkai Chrysalis Cocoon. Then a fight happened and Theresa was injured, and lastly there was the view in front of me, I was on guard against Sirin if she attacked me with her lances that was already circling around her as I was "protecting" the body of Theresa.

That is the only assumption I can make on Welt's thoughts since he didn't hold any hostile aura towards me but only against Sirin.

'Man I must be lucky as fuck! Welt wouldn't tolerate me and will try everything to kill me if he found out the truth of what happened inside here!'

"Theresa is still alive, bring her to the tower and her her treated. I'll handle this one." Welt in

"Wait, you can't do this alone!" Siegfried who emerged from behind Welt said with concern.

"Dammit Siegfried. If you want Theresa to live, stop being stupid and get some help!"

Siegfried clenched his fists before he rushed over beside me, giving me a quick glance before taking Theresa into his arms.

"Alright, Welt. I owe you another. No, I owe you three times now!"

"I didn't give you permission to leave, insect! Put that girl down!" Sirin yelled as she pointed a finger towards Siegfried's back, launching a lance directly at him.

Knowing that this would happen I decided to take action. I mentally commanded my Inventory space to open and gripped Sunder, one of the 3 Tools of Kagranac from the Elder Scrolls universe, and leaped to cover Siegfried as I swung Sunder at the lance.

The result had shocked Sirin.

"Y-you why would save them and turn on me! And what did you do to my lance?!" Sirin bellowed as she ordered me to answer her, her eyes on the verge of sheeding a tear at my perceived betrayal.

"I told you not to harm her or Humanity who are innocent for what they did to you. And as for your lance, if your lance can phase through anything Physical because it's made in Imaginary Space. No physical object can stop it...except this, Sunder. It can disperse anything and everything into its purest form of energy or essence. Right now your lance has just be transmuted back into Dark Matter from which it was created."

"Y-you'll share in their fate! My Godess? What are you telling me?" Sirin said before she turned her head to mutter to her shoulder.

I didn't see it before since it was hiding but now I can. A Seraph-class Honkai Beast. A butterfly. This butterfly is not be so easily misinterpreted as useless, it was the very same Honkai butterfly that the Will of Honkai/God/Prometheus is using to communicate to Sirin and lire her into becoming a Herrscher.

"Who is she talking to?" Welt whispered over to me as Sirin was still distracted.

"She's talking to the God that controls all Honkai and creates Herrschers. I'll explain more after we deal with this. I have a request, do not kill her or you'll make an enemy of me as well, Herrscher of Reason." I strictly said to him as I took out the Ace of Spades into my right hand as Sunder is in my left. I need pure power for the upcoming fight.

"My Goddess just told me about a TRAITOR who turned against HER will. And the SHE told me that you're just a poorly made copy of that TRAITOR. You are no true Herrscher. You're just a piece of trash compared to HER CHOSEN. I shall CRUSH you for your lies and for betraying HER, vermin.

The Traitor Sirin is referring to is the real Herrscher of Reason and original Welt. The Welt next to me is actually just a boy that was given the Herrscher Core of Reason by the real 1st Herrscher Welt. The real Welt gave the name "Welt" to the successor beside me as it meant 'protecting humanity' or some symbolic name like that, I didn't really care to read it so I skipped that part.

(A/n I did read it, I just doing it on purpose for mc character personality and depth of what he likes and does.)

"As for you, you'll pay for trying to trick me!" Sirin directed her anger towards me this time.

"It's clear that your nor going to listen to me as long as your on your high throne, drunk on your recently acquired power. Compared with me, while you may have greater power, you have no combat experience or stratagem. Try as you might, it'll take me only 3 moves to counter everything you can throw at me."

"We'll see won't we!"

With that, Sirin launched her first barrage of attacks as dozens of spears hurled towards both myself and Welt.

While Welt created a barrier to block the attacks, I simply smashed them into energy particles using Sunder.

"Haha! Think I won't know you'll do that agai-WHAT?!"

"I'm sorry Princess, didn't I tell you 3 moves or less I can counter whatever you do?" I said as I had just dodged a lance which Sirin had Purposely redirected it's Movement to swerve around Sunder before it made contact and was aimed to piece me through the side, but I knew she would do this so I easily evaded it. Ontop of that I had my Spatial Awareness so it wouldn't have really mattered.

Meanwhile, Welt charged up an attack as crackling black red Lighting traced around a dark red orb he held in his hands. Dozens of projectiles shit out like beams towards Sirin.

Sirin likewise blocked the attack with spatial shields of hexagonal patterns that surrounded her.

"Haha is that really all you had? My shields can deal with anything. Come now, that surely can't be all the tricks you have?"

Welt was processing a plan in his mind as I was evading Sirin's attacks.

Suddenly dozens of hands emerged from beneath my feet and almost grabbed me, especially trying to seize my left hand which held Sunder. I knew she'd try to capture me but didn't expect it to be so direct.

I immediately summoned my Siren Wings and took to the air just like how Welt and Siren were.

'What? He can fly as well? Is he a Herrscher too? But that's impossible, my Godess didn't say anything about him?' As Sirin thought this, Welt had begun his assault.

Welt had conjured forth a gigantic Malestrum of red Lighting whivh acted as a cover for him to sneak up on Sirin, he was behind her as he attempted to breach her void shields.

"Oops it's a trap~ I really didn't expect you to fall for that? Time to go Pseudo-Herrscher~" She gave Welt a glance before many white hands emerged from portals in the Void to grab him, Sirin stuck out her tongue like a playful child.

The hands restrained Welt before they released him again, only to be devoured by the sudden visage of the Judgement-class Honkai Beast Benares.

The Dragon Benares swallowed the figure of Welt whole down her gullet.

"Now that the Traitor is taken cared off, where were we?"

Sirin said as she turned to face me onpy to see me standing before her, having bypassed her void shields.

"W-what!"

I placed my finger on Sirin's forehead in a flicking motion before...

*flick*

*boooom*

With the flick of my finger I flicked her forehead just as a parent does to their children sometimes, causing immense pain in the process. Except for me, I had use my powers over space to simply increase the force generated by that flick.

It was so powerful that Sirin was sent flying directly into Benares with such high speeds, even the gigantic Honkai Dragon was kocled of its feet and crashed to the ground.

But there was something I had also done. I used Psychometry on Sirin as I had flicked her, just as I did with Welt secretly before. Back when Welt and Sirin had their staring contest I had used Psychometry on Welt by making a small Portal the size of my hand to pass through.

It wasn't hard ro make a Portal, it was one of the basic principles of teleportation, but maintaining and using it was far harder to do than teleporting with only a moment to focus than abprolonged period of time where anything can go wrong.

Now I had used Psychometry on Welt and Sirin.

Welt with the Herrscher of Reason's powers to create anything he can comprehend of human technology.

And Sirin, as the Herrscher of the Void that has the power to manipulate Space and Dimensional laws.

Just like me.

I have PhaseCreate and PhaseSpace-Time.

I now had all the knowledge of Welt Yang, and can create anything he already knew how to make.

As well as all the knowledge Sirin has on her powers as the Herrscher of the Void on how to manipulate Dimensions and Space.

The only thing that was limiting me now was the massive consumption of Siren Energy performing to many of the high level abilities can cost.

I put away both my weapons as I no longer need to use them. I lifted my hand and the gigantic body of Benares began to float high in the sky, I raised my other hand and a Portal opened up, of which Welt promptly fell out of.

As for Benares, I lifted my hand and brought it down, making her go up and crash down into the Earth below, only to be lifted once again and crash again into the ground, and again, and again, and again.

This continued over and over, with Sirin only now waking up from being rendered unconscious for a few moments by my spatial flick, to witness Benares being toyed with. Before I threw her injured body away. I didn't kill her but left her in a state where she can later escape.

"That's impossible! How do you have my powers as well?!"

[Retreat! You are no match for them. Come to me, I await you...on the moon.]

Sirin heard the words of her God speak to her, she grit her teeth, she didn't wantnto admit defeat this early, she cab still face them, but now even her Da- this man displayed powers over Space just like her. She had no choice but to admit it, she had to retreat.

Sirin glanced over Benares injured form as she used her power to form a Portal beneath her loyal servant and herself to fall through.

"No! She's escaping!" Welt shouted as he went to pursue after Sirin only to be stopped by my hand which gripped his shoulder.

That brief delay was all Sirin needed to escape, but she certainly witnessed what happened and had a conflicted expression on her face.
