SPLASH!!
"HAHA! Watch me; I am the water, Master!"
"TAKE THIS!!"
All the citizens were enjoying their time at the city beach, with the scent of salt and the sunny weather breezing onto their skin. Tedashii looked around and saw Genti sitting on a tall seat.
"Hey, Genti!" He approached him. "Why are you sitting over here and not swimming?"
"I am a lifeguard, so I do most of my swimming when someone is in peril."
"Oh, when do you know if someone's in trouble from here?"
"Beast prowess," Tedashii saw his eyes were still glowing. "I don't miss even the slimmest wave when it's activated."
HELP!!
They turned around to see Seto drowning on the beachfront. "IT'S TOO DEEP, I CANNOT SWIM!!"
"…does that count as an emergency?"
"He's not drowning; he just can't see the difference…pun intended."
Noriko was admiring the shells lying on the ground. "You like shells, Noro?"
She turned to Tedashii with pure loathing. "NORIKO! Sorry, I got so used to hearing Seto call you that. There is plenty more if you get close to the deep end of the ocean."
He took his shirt off and ran for the shore. "Seto! Come with me." He picked him up, and they began sinking.
"T-TEDASHII WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
"LET'S GO AND GET SHELLS FOR NORIKO!!"
SPLASH!!
They made it where half of their body were underwater. "Okay, why don't you draw something to help us breathe underwater?"
"YOU DO KNOW THAT PAINTING REQUIRES A DRY SURFACE?!"
"No, last time we fought, you made drawing out from thin air."
"IF I can see, we are miles away from Noriko…I am freezing…and my eyes are filled with salt water!"
Seto kept scratching his nose and eyes until it began to irritate him. "Oh no…"
"Seto…?"
ACHOO!!
BOOM!!
Tedashii was sent dashing out of the water as everyone swam out the shoreside.
"AHH! MONSTER!!"
"I THOUGHT THIS WAS A SHARK FREE ZONE!"
Genti woke up from his nap and rubbed his eyes. "What…WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!"
ROOOARRR!!
A sea monster doodle arose from the ocean and caused massive waves.
"Uhm, Chitose! We have a problem."
She ran onto the beach. "What happened?!"
ROOAARRR!!
"Never mind!" She turned back and ran into the aquarium.
"DON'T LEAVE ALL THE WORK TO ME!!!!"
Tedashii stood up and took his stance. "Alright, time to fight!"
Seto freed himself from the itch. "Ahh, much better." Then, he turned his head to the monster. "Aww, bubbles. What are you doing out here?"
REVERT!
In a flash, the monster vanished into Seto's pen. "There we go-AHH I'M DROWNING!!"
He sank into the bottom.
"Genti, I got this one!" Tedashii picked up a rescue buoy and threw it into the ocean.
"That is NOT how that works; you need to-"
"Jump in as well? GOT IT!"
He wrapped four buoys around him and jumped. As he kept swimming, he felt the previous buoy wrap around his legs and began to float idly. "AHH, GENTI! I CAN'T MOVE!"
Everyone laughed at his rescue attempt while Seto floated back to the shore. "Come on! Can't you help me out of this one?!"
"I can help."
He turned to a man who was on a surfboard. "How did you get yourself in such a tangle?"
"Eh…long story."
He pulled his legs free and let him hold onto his board.
"Whew, you're a lifesaver…" Tedashii focused on his face. "Whoa..you look so much like Makoto."
Malcolm flinched to his compliment. "I know him; he's a close relative of mine…"
"Have you guys spoken this whole time?"
"No…but I did encounter him a few months ago. It doesn't matter though, I-"
"You really should check on him whenever you can," Tedashii interrupted. "You never know how much someone needs you until they see you."
"…" Malcolm looked away. "It's complicated."
"OH RIGHT! Speaking of which…what is he into? If you were to get him something he likes."
"Music." He said. "Get him a guitar, and write this message onto it.
