Lythia removed the shadow shield around the palace and Chaos who had been waiting for an opportunity teleported inside so fast as if a hound was at his heels. 

He was met with disappointment because the couple he hoped to see engaged in a fight of despair was very okay and making their out of the palace with smiles on their faces. 

He stuck to Scarlet's side like glue, looking closely at her face and studying her body language. 

"No tears?" he asked. 

"Nope." Scarlet answered. 

Chaos moved to Esong's side. "You do know that she hasn't forgiven you, right? And what about Nyx, he almost took over your life." 

Esong groaned, and tilted his head to glare at the deity. "Back off.'" 

Scarlet too glared at Chaos. He was on a mission to unravel all that they had rebuilt, it seemed and she didn't appreciate his actions one bit.
