Chapitre 122: Edo Tensei
As long as he kept the third hokage trapped within the barrier, and had Asuma as a hostage with him, everything would be fine.
The Hokage would eventually perish, and Asuma as a hostage, would help him escape Konoha's chase.
Kabuto had everything planned perfectly; everything was taken into consideration by him.
Except for one thing.
"Lightning bruiser!"
A sudden, powerful strike from the back. Kabuto barely had time to dodge before he felt his body go numb and his chest bones shatter.

Kabuto ragdolled over the rooftop like a broken kite; he finally stopped only when he hit a solid wall.
"Cough, Sato Nii. How did he get out?"
Kabuto grabbed his chest and gasped for breath, but his eyes could no longer stay open after this injury.
He unwillingly fainted and collapsed onto the ground, knocked out cold.
"What..? Am I free?"
Asuma asked blankly; he was extremely tired mentally, so he was having trouble processing this.
"Of course you are. Look at you, man. Did they refuse to let you sleep and eat? You look like shit."
Sato laughed and patted Asuma on the back. Asuma looked at Sato and gave a tired smile.
"Sato Nii, did you save me? My students talk about you a lot. All good things."
"I didn't think I could escape this situation; I was preparing to die. Thank you for saving me. I owe you one for this."
Asuma smiled at Sato and turned towards his father. He didn't like his old man much, but his father was willing to risk death for him today.
Asuma could no longer hate his father, not after this. Taking a deep breath, Asuma gathered his remaining strength.
"Father, I am sorry. Go all out; don't worry about me!"
The Third Hokage looked at his son Asuma and felt tears come into his eyes. He quickly wiped them away and smiled with renewed vigor.
"Asuma I am glad you are okay, son. Now I can go all out; there is nothing holding me back."
The third Hokage confidently took his stance and looked at this opponents.
Edo tensei Hashirama, Edo Tobirama, and Edo Fourth Kazekage. These were his opponents.
'... on second thought, I should ask for help. They seem to have become even stronger after Kabuto was defeated.'
'Did Kabuto release the restrictions he had put on them? Did they regain their sense of self again after Kabuto was knocked out?'
The third hokage moved cautiously while keeping his eye on the opponents. He needed to confirm if the edo tensei were conscious.
"Orochimaru!!! How dare you kill me and trick the hidden sand village?"
Just then, Kazekage's anger-filled shout came and confirmed Hiruzen's suspicion.
"Monkey, is that you? Is this my jutsu edo tensei? Who's the controller?"
Edo Tobirama also regained his consciousness and looked around coldly.
"Edo tensei? Tobirama I told you not to create such weird jutsus all the time. Oh, is that you, monkey? You look so old, haha."
Edo Hashirama also regained his consciousness and grinned cheerfully.
All three Kages were now conscious because of Kabuto's failsafe. But Sato didn't think this was a good thing.
"Excuse me, can you guys control your movements? If so, would it be possible to stop this fight?"
Sato asked the three Kage politely, and all three Kage turned to look at Sato standing beyond the barrier.
"No. It seems the jutsu user ordered our bodies to keep fighting."
"We can control ourselves right now, but it's getting harder and harder to fight against this feeling."
Hashirama replied politely; he thought Sato was a hidden leaf ninja, so he explained patiently.
"What a strong chakra signature! Which clan are you from?"
Tobirama asked with a curious but slightly questioning look. The third Hokage felt embarrassed after hearing this.
But the fourth Kazekage simply wanted to laugh.
"Hahaha, he isn't from Konoha. This is Sato Nii. The future fifth Raikage."
"He is the most talented new generation of this era. He had already fought against Konoha back when he was a small child."
The fourth Kazekage said with a smile. It would seem that Fourth Kazekage was bragging about Sato, but the reality was that he was trying to turn Sato into their enemy.
If the two Hokage think Sato is a threat to Konoha, they would want to target him in particular.
Fourth Kazekage wanted both Konoha and hidden cloud to suffer now, as that would be beneficial to hidden sand.
"He is the hidden cloud's raikage?? What is he doing so close to Konoha's core territory, Monkey!?"
Tobirama scolded the third Hokage with a dark look on his face. Tobirama hated two things most in his life. The Uchiha clan and Hidden Cloud Ninja.
His Uchiha hate didn't need an explanation, and hidden cloud rebels were the cause of his death. He didn't approve of Sato being here.
"Don't say such words, Tobirama. Sato Nii seems like a good person. And Monkey seems to not mind his presence."
"Maybe relations between the two villages are good right now."
Hashirama chastised Tobirama a bit. He didn't want their old bias to ruin the relationships of the living.
"Yes, the relationship between our villages is good! Sato even stopped the Uchiha clan from rebelling once."
"The Uchiha clan is currently living in hidden cloud and hideen leaf because of Sato's influence."
"The Hyuga clan has a close relationship with Hidden cloud too. Hyuga heiress is Sato's wife."
The third hokage explained their close relationship to solve any misunderstanding. But he ignored one thing.
"Uchiha rebellion?? Raikage was involved with Konoha's Uchiha rebellion?"
This was all Tobirama needed to hear before his face turned ugly. Two of his most hated things came together. What was Monkey doing with this village?!
"Ah hahaha, well, that's great; I am sure you know what you are doing, monkey."
Hell, even Hashirama thought Konoha's noble clans joining other ninja villages was a big problem. But he tried hard to maintain ignorance.
'What the hell third Hokage, they hate me now! Are you doing this on purpose??!'
Sato was scolding Hiruzen's loose mouth. Although he had sinking suspicion, that the third hokage might have done this on purpose.
He and Sato did not have a good track record. Maybe this was his revenge.
"I know this sounds bad Asuma. But I feel like I should not have saved you."
Sato said dully. Asuma shivered a bit and quickly decided to back away.
"Ahaha.. I understand I would have felt the same.. bye, see you later."
Asuma ran as fast as he could, he then saw Anko in a corner and his eyes shined. Asuma quickly jumped on Anko's back and whispered something in her ear. which made Anko groan and carry him away with an angry look on her face.
And as if Asuma's absence was a switch, the first Hokage's hands clapped automatically.
"Monkey! I cannot control my body anymore. Get ready."
