Bai Zhe and the other 7 competitors followed the host off of the bus, then went to sit and wait for the staff to prepare the location. Where they were sitting was a courtyard, which looked like it was part of a nobleman's house from the past. The house walls were coated with dirt and pained in a clean white. There was a big wooden arch that was about 3 meters in height. After they walked through the door, they found a traditional house in front of them. Although some parts of the house had been changed—like replacing the paper on the windows and the walls with glass instead—the house still excellently retained an old-fashioned atmosphere.
"This is a restaurant that has been in business for a long time. If I'm not mistaken, their most famous dish is mung bean mooncakes," said Bai Zhe.
