"What are you guys staring at so attentively?" Shikera asked, drawing a chair back to sit on it. From the distance where she spotted them, she had seen Mignon and Alan staring in a particular direction with an unfathomable expression on their faces. She had not been able to make out what they were staring at as it was a floor to ceiling glass window.

"Look at that little girl. I thought she looked a little like me, and Alan thinks so too," Mignon replied, pointing in the direction of that little girl she had seen. "Look at that, she's even looking at us as if she can recognize us."

Shikera traced Mignon's line of sight and spotted the little girl in question.

"Esther..." The name had dropped from her mouth before she could stop herself. Standing to her feet, she hurriedly wore her facemask back.

"Let's go, Leah. We can't stay here," she said with a tone of urgency.
