Ethan's fingers tapped on the large oak desk in his study, his expression showing how annoyed he was. How could his wife have a boyfriend? He could still picture Shikera's facial expression when she told him that Leonard was her boyfriend.

"He's my boyfriend..." She had said that with a beautiful smile on her face that he had to cut her off. Who knew if she was going to tell him when they met and how they started dating.

He knew Shikera enough to know that she could tell him that, considering how simple she was, if he hadn't stopped her. He had merely kissed her on the lips, unlike the previous day when the kiss had been passionate, because he found it odd kissing a girl with a boyfriend. Why was he not even informed from the beginning?

Was it that her boyfriend couldn't do everything he was doing now, and was that why Liam Anderson had not asked him to marry his daughter but had asked Ethan?
