Chapitre 73: Twin Connection

I woke up in an empty bed, hours after Demyan left in such a hurry you would think hell was hot on his heels. It was not at all how I hoped our morning would be, maybe we would wake up before he had to go to work, have a romantic breakfast in front of the large window showing off the view of the city before I kissed him goodbye with a promise I would see him again. 

I was not even irritated that he had to leave because I knew I had hijacked his life for the past few days. Plus I was not a complete monster, she was Demyan's girlfriend and I was sure he was scared about her medical emergency. He probably blamed himself for indulging too much and forgetting to even check his phone. 

He was like that. He was always stressed, always worried and always overthinking. I knew for a fact he was possibly jumpy wherever he was because he thought everyone must have known what we were up to this weekend when no one even had a clue.
