 The following day, Commander Lin did not even seem to remember what he had done the previous night. 

He ignored everything else and concentrated on his preparations for the bloodline awakening.

They entered through a simple door that led to a completely different world. 

This was the Lin Soul Inheritance world. 

It was larger than the entire Northern Desolate continent.

This world was not any normal place. 

It did not have even a single plant. 

Nothing g green grew here. 

The sky was grey and so was the ground. 

Grey Stine statues of humanoid creatures with deformed faces and limbs covered the ground as far as one could see. 

Some of these stone statues had bat-like wings large enough to engulf the sky.
