After a while, Jolene arrived at the villa with her bodyguard who instructed the cook to prepare her a meal, as the young mistress must be hungry.

Jolene went straight to the living room and sat on a sofa. The television was already on, and sitting across from her was Deli, the brother of the Fifth Young Master. He seemed to have noticed her presence and lowered his head to acknowledge her.

Jolene continuously fixed her eyes on the TV, and when it reached a certain point, Deli noticed that she had been quiet the whole time. He turned his gaze from the TV to her and said, "Sister-in-law?"

The young man's voice woke Jolene from her primary interest at the moment.

Deli was around Jolene's age; to be exact, he had just turned 21. However, he still respected her since she was his elder brother's wife, or perhaps his fiancée, as the marriage had not been publicized. This led everyone to assume that they were probably engaged.
