Chapitre 48: 48. Happy

When Adrian appeared within his line of sight, Shaga knew that his heart was beating faster than usual. The heat rushed to his face, and for a moment, he thought he might be coming down with a fever this time.

Everything sped up as Shaga and Adrian began to exchange their vows, and it stirred deep emotions in Shaga. They had asked for permission at Shaga's parents' graves and then at Adrian's mother's grave. Shaga had never imagined that he would see Adrian's father come to him for the first time, and for half an hour, he didn't say anything before suddenly saying, "I permit you. I've never seen him so happy."

Shaga felt Adrian move closer and take his hand. Their fingers intertwined, feeling the warmth spread, soothing Shaga.

After hearing Adrian's confession once more, Alpha's eyes were still teary. Once again, Shaga wouldn't admit that he was lucky to have Adrian now, a man he never thought would turn out to be so amazing.
