Synopsis
This is a translation- Original Author: Night Tales by a Dim Lamp
In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war. The Emperor walks among men, striving to restore the glory of the Imperium. Yet, the fate of humanity has long been toyed with by the malevolent Chaos Gods. In this tumultuous future, there is naught but endless darkness and warfare. That is, until the appearance of a Deathwatch Marine named Hades. As the threads of destiny intertwine, can this outsider change the tragic fate that awaits countless souls? The gods place their bets.
Yet, Hades remains oblivious to all of this. At present, he's weeping like a snotling that's had its toe stepped on.
"Emperor's mercy! Why am I in the Warhammer universe?!"
"And why in Terra's name am I a Deathwatch Marine?!"
"Is it too late to bash my head in and respawn?!"
A comedic tale where a nerdy, unserious protagonist finds himself in the grimdark Warhammer world, oscillating between moments of sheer terror and bouts of uncontrollable sobbing.

Écrire un avisthe translation is weird there is really no bad grammar but like someone said it feels like a first draft. The pov changes continuously with no warning the dialogue is weird I have trouble knowing when one person finishes talking and someone's else starts and at the end of chapters there is no separation between the authors note and the rest. its not bad just a lot of little things making it a pain to read sometimes. the story is good
It is a really good story so far I have read 25 chapters, the main carácter adapts very fast with both his surrounding and his powers but at the same time overcomes multiple hurdles both mental and physical
First of all, simply AMAZING I loved every second of this I found that the develment from at weak boy to a tough resistance fighter to a Space marine fighting demons was incredible, but further into the story you hit these small translation errors which can be easily ignored but they are still there. But thanks again for this amazing story of our boy Hades, and i hope we see him again.
Excellence translation!!!!!!!!!!!! The work is very well done. I enjoy it so much. Thanks for giving me another great fanfic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing I’ve read a few 40k fanfics. Only 1 was as good as this on fanfiction.net but that was about a warp god. As for astartes this tops it. Please don’t drop
Nice to see a good Warhammer fanfic I'm interested how the jump to 40k will be managed after the heresy if the fic goes that far, could do a lion of the rock. Or a pop through the warp.
I love it there some things here and there.like spelling and his cheat not making me optimistic on the future of the book.like he's an untouchable.
This story is ridiculously good (Warhammer baby over here). How good is it? Here’s a list of what happened as I essentially 1-shot read through until the latest chapter. 1. Took me around 4-5 days to read this 2. Cut down sleep time to read this masterpiece 3. Missed a due assignment that was worth 20% of my grade 4. Have to rush to study for an upcoming quiz in less than 5 hours Read this people, this book hits harder than the Horus Heresy.
Pretty good in all departments besides the Stability of the inconsistent updates. Other than that it's pretty good. Do be sure to check it out, it's real good.
It's a really good story. I love the MC. it has a lot of potential. please give this a read you won't regret it.
